There was a house explosion in woldwick NJ right by my school ! i think it was 2005 or 2006 but it was loud and you could feel it ! lots more smoke and it was on the news you may have know that one ?

You know, whats funny is we just had a house explode in a city very close to me that could be felt for miles away! If you wouldn't have mentioned NJ, I would have thought you lived closer to me. hmmmm thats horrible. but as someone asked was it a portable heater i doubt it because most new portable heaters have a built in thermostat they shut off when it gets too hot. as for the family i hope they got insurance

Around 30 years ago a house near where I live blew up from a gas leak. The only one in the house at the time was the teenage son who was sleeping in the basement.  He was OK, but he said when the blast woke him up he was covered in debris, and when he looked up he expected to see the ceiling but saw the sky instead. It was must have been weird.

@daddytech Don't have all the details yet but i heard an older woman died and it was probably a gas leak. But nothing is definite, just what I've overheard!!

@805ROADKING that's sad, if the gas had filled the house that it exploded that bad though, can't help but feeling she wouldn't have been able to feel anything though so maybe that's the upside if she really was home when the explosion happened.
