@tom1161 if he stayed in it, he would go with it and all you would see is the time of day changing. here he sets it to only go a few seconds into the future, jumps out just before it time-travels, and then waits for it to appear just to demonstrate that it's actually travelling through time and not just changing the time of day in the game.
