  • DISSONANCE !

  • Mmm, I feel like I'm in a somewhat fine dining establishment in the 70's.

  • this song is great, my school just did this song. Although yours sounded way better

  • Oh no the piccolo messes up but at least she caught up

  • you gave it your best... i hope.

  • i remember when i played this at tricounty last year. =) good times. And Robert W. Smith was the guess conductor. it was so amazing!!! i will never forget that. He's such a great guy and the way he explains the musicality of a piece is amazing. he's so clear on how the piece should sound like.

  • Messy piccolo.

  • ummm yeah come to see how its realy played at the extravagansa concert see you guys there

  • Ugh, our pic part is having trouble with her beginning solo so I can understand the screw-ups she made (Being a flute myself) RECOVER! I think you did a decent job of that. We're taking this to orginizationals so wish us luck! We think it;s turning out very well!

  • the band was continually rushing the tempo, but the percussion section had it locked good job.

  • WTF VIBES SOLO ROBBED BY A SAX?

  • the solo is in both parts but i think the vibes shouldve played

  • It was so hard trying to do 32nd notes on a bass clarinet!

  • @Bigfootarts94

Bro, believe me, the second bass clarinet solo is not hard. All you have to remember is that the first three notes have to be on one beat with, with the eight note being held longer than the 32nds, the other two 32nds have to be on the + of two, and the half note has to be on beats three and four. As for the sextiplets: each group has to be on one beat. Don't worry about that part though, it's a bassoon solo so you should just back off.

  • I no i've played in concerts its just still possibly be projected louder all im saying.

  • the trombones volume at 122 with the high E flat - high natural D glissando wasn't loud enough as it naturally should be played it sounded as a mf not forte.

one question when was this played (what year) - my highschool(westfield high are symphonic (2nd band)) is playing it for festivle in march (trombone player).

  • read the description. And if you were actually in the room, it was plenty loud. This was recorded on a Flip. Audio isn't the most accurate on those.

  • sucks

  • Yepp haha. I thought I was going to be the only nerd to look up this song,

  • That's not how Robert Smith directed us to play it :/

  • @KippersFerSure were you just at the reinhardt thing too?

  • @KippersFerSure same here!

  • i'm sorry for your friend. i dont want to sound mean, but in the end, you can't let personal problems effect the way you play. you can tell by her tone and vibrato that she's a good player. anyway, it sounds good. the whole band.

  • piccolo cannot pitch the high notes properly, the saxophone is playing a vibraphone solo and it was messy in the beginning...sorry :/

  • i agree with all but the sax part. The sax is a written part, alongside the vibes in the score.

  • show
