This song is not about religion, the "Kill God" title references the "God" of the cult that is being summoned in Silent Hill 3, this was likely supposed to be the track playing during the final boss fight, spoiler warning.
I know this is SH3 But this should have been Pyramid head's song, in case someone else used him as their own personal hellish punishment after getting inspired by a story that James told about the town.
O_o Cant sleep , listening to this very late at night, no light but from my laptop. Everything else is quiet around me as I listen to this song and yet, could of sworn I just heard a voice coming from outside my headphones. This song still inspires dread and manical terror.
I'm a Christian, and I don't think this is offensive. For one, it's not even the official name of the song, and two, the god that is the final boss of the game is the god of the Order. It's an isolated cult that worships a totally different...really screwed up deity that is actually a demon in disguise. In fact, Heather says near the end of the game, "God? Don't you mean devil?" And third...Silent Hill kicks ass.

You know what really makes this song epic? Go to Centralia Pennsylvania where the premise for Silent hill was derived from. My wife and I went there and drove some of the way, and walked the rest listening to the whole game and movie soundtracks while we explored. FUCKING UNREAL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Its incredible place to visit, especially if you know the WHOLE background story to the town, the truth. Then read about the mythology end of it. It is truly one hell of experiences we've had.
@gatoman46 we were all over that town. Cant remember for sure, my wife believes so, Its been awhile since we were there, Have to look through our pics to see. Even talked to the old couple that still refuses to leave. They invited us in for coffee and we talked for about 2 hours. I cant remember there names, but they were the ones that told us about some of the other "strange" occurances that took place then, and now even to this day.

@somedamnfangirl It was, but what kinda sucked was that the sound engineer reversed the audio...so what you hear in the film is really this song but completely different! I didn't like the reversed version as much as this of course...but hey, at least they put it in the movie at all!

You know what really makes this song epic? Go to Centralia Pennsylvania where the premise for Silent hill was derived from. My wife and I went there and drove some of the way, and walked the rest listening to the whole game and movie soundtracks while we explored. FUCKING UNREAL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Its incredible place to visit, especially if you know the WHOLE background story to the town, the truth. Then read about the mythology end of it. It is truly one hell of experiences we've had.

@gatoman46 we were all over that town. Cant remember for sure, my wife believes so, Its been awhile since we were there, Have to look through our pics to see. Even talked to the old couple that still refuses to leave. They invited us in for coffee and we talked for about 2 hours. I cant remember there names, but they were the ones that told us about some of the other "strange" occurances that took place then, and now even to this day.
