Thank you Janet for taking on this subject about which I am also very passionate. I find that while there is Light in every religion it creates a potential environment for excessive control and abuse. Many of our religious beliefs are based in fear and that fear can become all consuming in the wrong hands and used to abuse those who look to religious leaders for guidance.  Freedom of religion exists to allow people to worship as they choose, not to abuse as they choose.
