  • wtf ?!?!?! your judging people on what app they use and what effects they choose bhahahahaha

    people these days

  • @thecandystar10 I also judge people on if they know the difference between "your" and "you're" and anyone who gets it wrong is considered a "fucking moron" and thus their opinions are irrelevant to me.... Problem moron?

  • @Blunty3000 lolololol !! nerrrdd :L

  • Comment removed

  • out of curiosity, what is your opinion of actual vintage cameras? I see your point about the fake ones, but what about real ones?

  • Comment removed

  • Even though I disagree with most of your points, I still think your video was hilarious & very entertaining!! Honestly, I'm surprised I haven't seen you in movies or something, you seem like you would be a great actor; very dramatic! :-) I purchased the app to take clips of my roaring 20's birthday party next week, and I'm thrilled that I found this app!!! Another thing, I think that even though you meant to criticize the app, you actually ended up advertising it and convincing a few people to

  • It's my STYLE, and I'm not a "HIPSTER"

  • @rOLaant3 Your "style" is the same app-generated filters over footage that is far from interesting. It's not YOUR style. It's the "style" of anyone that owns that application. Learn how to edit the footage to get that "style" yourself. Because you can't call it yours if millions of other people can do the same exact thing effortlessly.

  • @GlowingGenetLoki That's true, but to me it's what you film, not the about the filters, I do understand that anyone can do this, but it's about what I film. What I meant that it is my prefer style, I didn't invent it, I just love it.

  • I love all the retro apps (I even have the macro/fish eye lens attachement). The filters add an abstraction to the photos/videos that were, otherwise, boring. I took a regular shot of my friends 442 buick muscle car in the snow yesterday...eh, but with the vintage "Canon" app, WOW! so much fun :) I love watching old youtube vids of Black Sabbath in the early 70's!! to be able to mimick that vibe with an Iphone or Android smart phone is amazing!!

  • HE SAID TUMBLR.

  • Comment removed

  • I'm sure you know this, but you can upload film from the normal camera and use the 8mm app as pp.

  • I like how the advertising blurb says it "turns your iphone into a vintage 8mm video camera".

What is an 8mm video camera? There is no such thing! By definition 8mm movie cameras are not video cameras...

  • The 8 MM app looks better than the actual iphone camera. It looks like film. That's the point. I'm sure you already know that. You're just being funny. :D

  • wow lol, didn't know people care this much about 2 dollar apps lol.

  • @willwelsh816 *$2.50* It makes a difference.

  • Comment removed

  • the thing thats even more fucked up is some of them buy these old 8mm cams...film themselves with their retarded hipster friends in a park while they're smoking and drinking beer, mumbling about some meaningless retarded bullshit and feel awfully good and proud about themselves because they consider the shit they're doing as...art ROOOOOOFFFLLLLL HIPSTERS CAN SUCK MY DICK...ooohhh wait...forget i said that ROFL,i wouldnt mind a hipster chick suck on my dick though...thats all they're good for

  • Blunty

Have you ever thought about making a video further on why you hate hipsters? I think I would enjoy it.

A person showed me recently this "artwork" that rather looked like ugly amatuer camwhoring on a personal photography website. They were people just using a handheld camera on themselves and taking pictures of themselves naked and I didn't get any feeling of message they were trying to communicate.

Is that what Hipster art really is? Not very interesting really.

  • The really annoying part of these apps (or Photoshop tutorials) is the idea that the "film look" is utter crap e.g out of focus, super grainy, low saturation, poor colour balance, with scratches and bits of hair all over the place.

Most motion pictures are still shot on film, and most cinemas still use film projectors. Did "The Matrix" have the "film look"? No. Did "2001"? No.

Hell, there's recently-discovered colour footage from WWI that looks better than this "film look" crap.

  • Nice rant and I agree with most of your points. As a dedicated film photographer, I'm continually perplexed by the efforts some people will go to to emulate "vintage" film photos, when film and film cameras are still available.

I can see the fun side of using these sorts of apps, but it does seem a bit odd to buy a $2.50 app for a $600+ phone to try replicating what a film camera could do for less than $100-200 (or even less).

  • well, i don't like hipsters either, but this app looks cool! i mean, if i had an iphone, i wouldn't use it all the time, just sometimes for fun.

  • I actually use the 1920's camera app so that I can film things for my theater show. It does what my videographer can do but cheaper and in about 5 minutes.

Hipsters suck, but I honestly don't think they're doing it to piss you off.

    Hey, your narcissism is showing...

  • Oh and I'm not a hipster, but a broke ass fatboy.

  • ...there were some funny little points and faces that you made that made me kinda chuckle... but some of the "shitty" 8mm iphone films I've seen almost brought me to tears... to which I mixed with blood and drank while I watched your totally awesome video.

  • I get the point but I've had a total of $678 to my name my entire life and I decided to spend half of it on an iPhone so I don't have the fkkn bigboy cash like all the big amateur film producers like yourself, who still aren't known even though they spent a fkload more than me. There were so

  • huh... I kinda liked the app.. wouldn't buy it for I have no use for it.. but don't really see anything wrong... I figure it's just eye candy for 12 y/o.. not professional movie makers.. I hate hipster's skinny jeans though..

  • lmfao. dude

  • It's wrnnng.

  • hey blunty why are you allowed to judge what is considered art and what isn't?

  • Comment removed

  • Remind me of those Chinese music videos and AZN camwhores..

  • if it at least would do all of these features(wich can be easily done post without any compression) somewhat competent...blunt you are so right

  • Oh gosh, that was bloody funny.

  • It's like any technique out there, used with discretion it can improve the quality of the result, without discretion and you get crap.

But you are right, raw first, clean first. Then you can do whatever you want to it later and find the filter/effect that looks BEST and not just what you hope will look best at that moment.

    BTW, the sound effects rule!

  • I find it odd you would expend so much energy on hate of something as trivial as Aesthetics.

  • i love my hipster app. I see many "pro" photo's that are technically correct but no life in them. Its never about the camera or lense but the creativeness of the person behind it.

  • @jossgower Using pre-set filter kits is the EXACT OPPOSITE of being creative you dope. you think paint-by-numbers is gallery quality art too?

  • @Blunty3000... Its a GREAT APP for people that wish to create photo's or Films with a real VINTAGE/NOSTALGIC FEEL about them. You missed the point of the app. Its a springboard INTO CREATIVITY and FUN and not the opposite.

  • @jossgower You missed the point. Blunty is right. Take the High Def, HIgh quality image FIRST, then photoshop it to your heart's content. This could be a great editing app. But deliberately taking crappy photos/videos makes no sense.

  • @Redweaver I disagree. Creativity has nothing to do with a high quality image. Taking a high def image and then spending hours messing with it to give you a low res image that you could have shot on your iphone app is just a waste of time as far as i am concerned. So Claude Monet's Paintings are un creative because they are "low res" and not life like and detailed like other classic painters of his time? Its not uncreative to take a low res photo if thats what you wanted in the first place!

  • Not everyone likes the same things Blunty. For instance you don't see Gordon Ramsay nibbling on a twinkie, becuase he's a chef and he can make something better. But people who don't have the time or skill, may want to just eat a fucking twinkie, it doesn't taste better then something homemade it's just easier. That's what this app is for, people who like that old film look, but maybe don't have the time or skill to do the editing. So why don't you take out your tampon and quit whinging.

  • Look, I agree in the way that I think 'emulation' of any old 'vintage style' media is a bit retarted. But it is a bit fun to just have that nostalgic feeling in snapshots instead of wasting a roll of 6x6 slides to crossprocess, because the subject will 90% of the time not be important enough.

Eitherway, I'd still rather use my Canon-FDs, YashicaTLR's and selfmade pinhole camera... and I think that there is what seperates a hipster from the rest. They only EMULATE and never tried the real thing.

  • @hezzart In my honest opinion, picture quality isn't THE most important part of an image (be it still or moving), rather the message/content it conveys and how it communicates with the personality of the viewer (studium, punctum) is what should be important to any 'serious' (so I'm excluding photography/video of the 'snapshot' nature) image.

  • @hezzart But yes, any hipster trying to present his/her filter-heavy crossprocess-emulated picture as a serious piece of art* is simply missing the point, or rather the whole feeling of actually doing photography with an SX70/pinhole/crossprocessed film/etc. Having the same picture and not presenting it as art, but just having it as a snapshot though... that, to me, is something differeentirelynt!

    *Then again, what is art?

  • Well, the only posible use, however retardedly small, would be if you are making a movie where a character is say watching a an old movie or something. Still, die hipster, die.

  • I hated hipsters before everyone even knew about them! Lol jk but fuck I really do. I hate hipsters almost as much as I hate those cuntass little scene kids.

  • Haha 3:32

  • Death to hipsters... It's not just the photography that sucks. it's the art, music, and most of all the attitude that sucks the most.

  • I shall add, just for curiosity's sake, that this may be a cultural matter: in Spain (where I was born and raised) the very media are extremely vintage, since they love broadcasting shows about other times, music of the 60s, 70s, 80s, soap operas based in the Middle Ages... and obviously, vintage shootings. Perhaps Australia is radically different... (I suppose being a country with a hyper-long history is decissive for this...)

  • After watching this my wife reckons either we were separated at birth or your dad used to be a milkman in our little village in Scotland back in the very early 70s!

  • Hi, Blunty! I agree with your point but I would like to say a few things:

-No matter how much progress is done, there will be people who create new nonsense products (cameras, software), it's not a matter of progress, but of people.

-I know this is not your main point, but vintage, as well as other styles, have their purpose and convey their own message (I'm a studious of art, professionally; not a hipster).

-Take this as a loving advice: don't waste your energy getting mad for no reason...

  • @pableras28 DITTO...

  • 3:28 would be cool to shoot a horror movie with that!

  • I DISAGREE WITH YOU WITH EVERYTHING!.... well except for the fact that it makes fools think they have true artistic talent.

  • How many hipsters does it take to screw in a lightbulb? No amount will work! People have been screwing in lightbulbs for years! Excellent rant!

  • @TINKYJPOP Man, talk about missing the point, hipster ignorance knows no bounds. Go ride your "fixie" and express your individuality by doing the exact same uninspired bullshit everyone else in skinny-jeans does. lame.

  • @Blunty3000 well most of these comments were added by people who didnt see the entire clip.. at first you sound like you're crazy, but only at the end of it, you give some valid points. An app like that is useless unless you can EDIT what you recorded but not *mario sound* it up from the start. I hate vintage too, people should be happy with the modern times, while they are still here.

  • @Blunty3000 lol, thanks for the laugh, it's funny to see an old man with such a closed mind and trying to "be cool" by ranting stupid things in youtube, but I am not like you, I won't judge you. Do whatever you want if it makes you feel good, just respect the views of others.

  • Comment removed

  • @Blunty3000 LOL blunty, chill man, you're gonna have a heart attack right there.....lol anyways...even though I am not a hipster nor wear skinny jeans, I enjoy the app and it's fun when you have time to kill; everyone's got their own opinion about things...my comment must have really bothered you, awwwww I'm so sorry I hurt your feelings...anyways you're too old to be making such drama about a comment...goodnight :)

  • @TINKYJPOP I always find that when someone has to use the "you're just jealous because ______________" that they have effectively and completely destroyed any form of argument or defense they may have had. Because that's just immaturity at its purist form.

  • @GlowingGenetLoki WOW...I am amazed by your philosophical words....isn't freedom of speech granted in the U.S. Constitution? Then who cares...it's my opinion, Im not criticizing you..Im just giving my opinion...get over yourself, you are not that important..

  • @TINKYJPOP Again, an immature response. I gave you my opinion too.... get over yourself.... you are not that important. ;)

  • Comment removed

  • @TINKYJPOP Enjoy your hipster shit.

  • @TINKYJPOP go buy an old 8mm cam if you want those vintage quality

  • I like my stuff looking crisp and HD if possible but it would be kinda nice to mess with that app if I wanted to record and direct an old style silent movie or something...which I don't think I ever will :\

  • I think it's kinda cool...I mean it's only an iPod/iPhone app...

  • Blunty. From what I gather, you're opinion on people who use the "vintage" or "hipster" style , either in postproduction, or apps, are fuckstains?

  • talk about losing your cool man

  • I'm actually surprised at how well they made the filters look. If it did save the clean files, it could be a pretty cool app. I thought it was going to be something like "Old time filter!" and its just in black and white lol.

  • As a photographer, and owner of Holgas, Box Brownies and other lomo kit this app does hurt quite a lot, tarnishing an entire side of photography with on fowl swoop.

  • I downloaded this app just so i could wait for you to slap me

  • I love oyu so much blunty <3

  • 68 people are hipsters

  • @MrMafro Stfu.

  • I actually have a 8MM point and shoot camera. When I took it out to test if it was working Hippsters shot me down for being "Old school" and that is why I hate them even more.

  • I dunno I definitely wouldn't buy it to look artistic or crap like that

but I might get it just to see how it looks.

  • hahaha i rekon this is blunty's funniest rant yet so true but why the fuck would u pay money to make ur camera look like shit

  • Good on ya Blunty :D

  • Blunty, you have a lot of anger for one person.

  • @TurkishQI he's not really angry, just passionate about the subject... :D

  • hahahaha shot * *violated ...thats wonderful oh man that gave me a good laugh

  • This reminds me of the photo equivalent of the emo/scene myspace photos people would take in their bathrooms, and then use filters like sepia or vignette to get that "vintage" look. I want to punch the person who created this app in the face with a stapler.

  • Saying that it's not art because the quality isn't as good as it could be is like telling a painter to stop painting because you can take better pictures with a camera! Picasso could actually paint really detailed realistic paintings but chose to "lower the quality" in order to get a more unique and personal way of expressing himself. The problem with hipsters and cameras is that hipsters can't think for themselves and therefor make shit art. BUT I don't think this app is made with art in mind!

  • @HerbieStardust

Just because Picasso changed his style to a less realistic one, doesn't mean he reduced the quality. In fact, his paintings are of a very high quality. Reducing the quality of a video doesn't make it more "artistic" or "unique", it makes it shitty. Besides, could fucking up your footage ever be considered "unique" if everybody and their hipster grandma is doing it? This app is for gullible art institute starbucks-drinking money-wasting hipster fucktards.

  • @FunnyJunkTV I was being sarcastic when I said Picasso "lowered the quality"! Artists can use whatever medium they find appropriate for whatever they try to express and some visual artists want to express themselves through older mediums than the best HD cameras that are around today. I wasn't praising the app I just said that this app is probably made more for fun than art. I just think the comments Blunty made about art made him sound just as ignorant about it as the hipsters he's bashing!

  • @HerbieStardust When you said Picasso "lowered the quality", that's not called being sarcastic. That's called being a dumbass and not knowing what the hell you're talking about. This app wasn't made just for fun. It was made to profit off of hipster shit stains.

  • @FunnyJunkTV Haha! Yeah, what was I thinking trying to discuss art on youtube! I obviously wont get an intelligent answer! Anyway according to my knowledge saying something but meaning the opposite is called sarcasm! I thought it was blatantly obvious especially when the next thing I do is praise him for moving away from his old style. Also I worry about how much this app angers you. Seriously dude you should calm down.

  • @HerbieStardust Calm down. Calm down. Don't get a big DICK!

  • I like it

  • i agree, nostalgia in camera and vidio tech is stupid in itself i dont see why we would want to emulate something like a 1950s camera, they didnt use those cameras in the day to be "artistic" they used them cos they were the best they had trying to use them nowadays to be "artistic" is pointless. Its not artistic is just worse quality period.

  • @thundrbug They obviously didn't use the cameras in the 1950s that were good at the time artistically because at the time they weren't nostalgic they were just normal! Also, art isn't another word for the highest possible quality. Art is to express yourself through mediums you feel most suitable for the purpose of the particular artwork you're creating. And this app probably wasn't made for artistic purposes but for trendy/fashionable purposes (big difference)!

  • Greetings Blunty ! You do realize of course that your rant has probably sold a ton of this app to exactly the demographic about which you speak ? lol but seriously, I am a professional photographer with a couple of decades of experiance......keep up the good work ! (and don't supress what you really feel so much ! lol ........ Cheers !

  • im not disagreeing with you blunty on people making messed up pics and video, seeing them on FB but i do like this app if you do make short movies.

the 1st effect you showed on the video part of it.

i dont like the rainbow pics or something is stupid.

  • If this vid is meant to be funny then it is. If It's meant to be serious then It's just weird.

I have this app and i think it's fun. I just don't quiet get what it has to do with hipsters.

It's just an app, you know.

  • Slapping them the wrong way, Blunty. Gotta get 'em with the backhand. May thy pimp hand always remain strong

  • you have a valid point. Camera companies don't make amazing cameras and camcorders just to have some stupid dipshit with an app come along and shit on the photo/video quality

  • chill out.

  • i get it you hate the fact that the picture can be done much better but i guess its just the poor lazy bustards way to becoming a hipster cant help it and i bet some where in the world someones gonna buy this app and some other hipster will another shitty app etc. can't change these shit happens

  • Apps like these are pointless cash-ins.

Back when phones recorded low-res video, people bitched about it.

Now that we have phones that record in HD, people choose to fuck it up.

I swear, the companies that make these wonderful cameras can never win :(

  • I completely agree with you on the best quality beginning. If the tech keeps getting better and better for excellent phoyos, why bother? The logic here -- such as it is -- is 1. "because we can," 2. "It looks soooo keeewwll," 3. They do it as a way of getting attention because people don't want anything to do with them IRL, and 4. "Duuuudeee, this app is SO not intended for you unkewl oldsters, aren't you dead yet?"

  • Who noticed that all of a sudden the video looked a little brighter and washed -out after he said that he was recording it on the iPhone?

  • blunty your my hero....if you had a poster id add it to my wall with the rest of my posters.

  • @2WIREG Actually, I might just take his expression at 5:32 and superimpose it over the "stupid stupid stupid..." part earlier in the video.

  • Blunty, your passion for such inconsequential things is admirably though perhaps misdirected and imbalanced even in the name of entertainment.

  • quite a... passionate one this video is. but i loved the mario sounds :)

  • I think I'm going to go buy this app..

  • Didnt woolworths go bust recently? or was it just in britain?

nd you got something against people like Ramona Flowers?

  • Didnt woolworths go bust recently? or was it just in britain?

  • Let people do what they want..? Theyre not hurting anyone.

Im a media student in Melbourne, these people pollute the institute but ultimately, they dont get anywhere, they end up transferring because they're not actually interested. Its a fad, and when they find out they have to know more than how to hit record and overexpose it in post they freak out. Let them do what they want until the next counter culture fad hits and hopefully they dont fuck shit up too badly in the interim.

  • Blunty can't stand disorder, so here's a convenient list of the fallacies utilised within this video:

    1. If you hate this app so fucking much why don't you ignore it and let hipsters be hipsters instead of coming to the point of meltdown in a quiet room unprovoked?

    2. Why the fuck would you want raw footage whilst using an app created specifically for the opposite purpose?

    3. You're Australian. Just say "stewpid", not "stoopid". Your pronunciations are as annoying as the app you reviewed.

  • @squidzie this is his youtube channel.he uses it to express his own opinions and not to have some smartass asshole give him shit.he makes these videos for people who agree with him and quite frankly,i do.

  • @dd1995100 Reviewing something as being shit is as, if not more important as it being good. It keeps spenders from wasting money on crap products. I simply questioned the level of emotional stability he compromised in making the video.

And he certainly does make videos to cop criticism. If all his videos received nothing but kissass comments like yours he'd never improve, or at the very least OD on ego.

  • Comment removed

  • man all the footage you shoot is like around where i work! It would be the coolest thing to find you on the street one day and just be in one of the videos :)

  • This is pretty much the reason why I don't use digital zoom, its just destroying data before I have the chance to make a backup

  • Buying the app simply so we don't have to... You're a true hero, Blunty! ;)

  • I agree, clean image is far superior... i mean this app kinda makes intelligence for hipsters redundant, not that any of them started out with any intelligence to begin with... i hate hipsters so much, and i disagree with your first comments. Its their stupid clothes, hair, stupid everything... nuff said.

  • i like the app very much. if you dont "get it" you shouldnt use it. simple as that.

  • @hexrohexro moron

  • @hexrohexro /facepalm.

  • Because if these hipsters understood the meaning of post production everything in media would be in 8 bit sound and 1920's camera style.

  • lol. It all started at the start of 2000 with all the ska-punk kids in the uk, then they went onto numetal kids, now its scenster dicks who do it.

digital photography is the greatest and worst thing to happen to photography. you can get great results from it, and experiment. but..then these dicks can look like decent "Artists" with no effort.

    loved this rant!!!! lol

  • I think the effects are cool (in post, though... like Blunty suggested). I'm not a hipster by any means, I just like old cameras and stuff I guess. The app does look like the interface sucks and it should spit out a "clean" version. It has been a while since I've heard a good old Blunty rant, though :)

  • GOD BLESS GOOD OLD BLUNTY RANTS!!!

  • I own an actual 8mm camera.

  • yeaaa hipstermatic needed a shout out.

ok so these apps are for fun not for legit movie making. anyone trying to make anything of value would know its best to have a clean version. of course anyone making anything of value wouldnt use an iphone 4 but thats beside the point.

but alternativly, sometimes its best to apply the effect in camera so you can use in properly and get your look right. im out a chacters but ill just say 19fps is an astetic choice not a mistake by the program. good rant

  • i think that it my be for nostalgia or something

  • Well I think it's a genius scam. xD

  • you forgot to mention if the hipsters were truly passionate and enthusiastic about vintage filmography they would buy a REAL 8mm camera and shoot legit footage, and gain more artistic integrity in the process.

  • What is a hipster?

  • @card969 they roam wild in the Jungles, are about 6feet long and hunt wild deer all day. They wear striped yellow and blak that coinfuses their prey and are of the feline subgroup... or was that a tigar?

  • WAIT A MINUTE. 2:00 Is that Woolworth's? Why is an Australian in New York? No offense. Just curious.

  • @Ghosthunt64 i don't know if you said it was New York because of Woolworths or the fact that that is an actual corner of New York, but i'll tell you right now - just because you live in America and you have Woolworths, does that mean that they don't have Woolworths anywhere else?

  • @SpaceGhostGOLD UH...Well, Woolworth's is important because it was one of the first buildings to have an elevator in it. It was the forrunner of today's modern Skyscraper, so it is important in that aspect. Also, I beleive that is the only Woolworth's, and the building looks like what I've seen in pictures.

  • @SpaceGhostGOLD that's funny, because believe it or not, we have lots of Woolworths here in 'New Zealand', i even double checked the logo to make sure we are talking about the same thing

  • @Ghosthunt64 It's not New York, it's the corner of Park and George Streets in Sydney. The traffic is on the wrong side of the road for it to be the US.

  • @Failhammer23 Ah. Thank you. I didn't know therre was more than on Woolworth's, so thanks for pointing that out to me, and the same goes for SpaceGhostGOLD. Also, I couldn't help notice your logo looks like the Third Reich..."logo" from WW||. However, the Swastica was replaced by...some weird yellow thing. Good photoshopping.

  • @Ghosthunt64 It's a lightning bolt and an anchor, in case you were wondering. The eagle did come from a Third Reich icon.

  • @Failhammer23 Ah.

  • I agree with you, these camera apps suck. What's funny is this was like a featured app on Apple's App Store.

  • $2.50 for an app that makes your video camera shitty :0. Wow. There are good filters in movie editing software.

  • If i liked photography an i wanted to make old timey videos id use the original recording equipment that was used years ago. It took a long time for the iphone to get a decent camera seems stupid to fuck it up.

  • i'm autistic....

  • WoW nice quality the Iphone camera has, lol. Didn't notice it at all and I have the Iphone 4 G too =D

Thanks Blunty, you made my day ;)

Can use it more often now

  • Personally, I'd say even keeping the clean file and filtering it down is asinine. If you WANT to get creatively artistic with old-school low-fi camera gear, then go out and actually BUY an old camera, then you'll have to learn how to use the equipment properly and appreciate how it works and how to get the shots you want using it...

Personally I'd say any form of filtering down to LOOK low-fi is merely pretentious twaddle. If you can't do it FOR REAL, then you're just a wannabe, a poser. (",)

  • @sk8rfish ...oorrr..you can spend $2.50 and 30 seconds to download the app.

  • @gimplar there is that option, yes. I applaud your willingness to self-identify as a hipster poser.

The whole POINT of using vintage camera equipment is for the experience of it, the challenge of using it. In the same way that driving a computer simulation of a vintage car in no way compares to ACTUALLY driving one. Much like playing with a gun soundboard app, rather than going to a real firing range. It just doesn't begin to compare.

My point is made, I'll waste no more time on replies :)

  • @sk8rfish To clarify. I'm not a hipster, probably the furthest thing from it.

You're missing the point here. I'm not saying that the vintage app is better at producing vintage images than a vintage camera - I am saying that there is nothing wrong with using the vintage app. If you enjoy using the app and it gives you a measure of joy - then really, why not use it? Not everything has to be authentic to be acceptable.

  • Oh Blunty... How I love your rants... so informative, yet so funny! I loled so hard at the "STUPID x5"

  • A minutes silence for Blunty's $2.50...

  • you could say the same about black and white... or sepia, some vintage effects look amazing like the polaroid effect (this is photography im talking about) but its pretty retarted to not even keep the orginal image, and if you have a cannon eos or a good camera its a sin

  • blunty and his awesome nerdy rage highly entertaining and i will make sure ill never get that app

  • Loved the Super Mario Bros. sound effects for the, erm, "unwholesome" language.

  • i do like the app, even thought you are right the corret way to make it is, the way blunty said

  • 5:57 your my fucking hero

  • These only use for these apps that I can possibly see is if you already know the picture quality is going to look like shit. (The iPod touch's camera isn't.... great, by any standard)

At least this way you can make it look deliberate. You aren't going to WANT the original file.

  • Saturating pictures is okay, but when it's to the point that it looks like something from CSI: Miami, that's too much. I hate the whole artistic crap about making pictures bright and blurry. They only do that because the actual picture is boring and lame.

  • Thanks very much Blunty, I remember a while ago I saw this and said 'Ooh, that looks interesting, if only I had some money'. Now I know that there's much better stuff I can waste my cash on, like Angry Birds and other stuff too.

  • Idiot story: my cousin(13) got a new fancy smart phone. Thing is that he's a dumb ass and started buying a crap load of apps. One of the apps he was trying to show off was one that did something similar but with straight pictures. He took a bunch of pictures of his girlfriend with all the filters and posted them on facebook as a surprise..his gf hated them and broke up with him. He then wanted me to take them into photoshop and get rid of the filters to which I told him to FUCK OFF :)

  • Yeah I see what you mean blunty but I mean sometimes it's fun to Play with that stuff but not giving you the original video is pretty stupid

  • That's the excellent thing about being alive. Free will. The fact you are making this video only only gives the thing you are bitching at free press. You have how many subscribers that just saw more or less an angry commercial for it? Fuck you are retarded. Now remove this comment like a good little troll because you know I'm right.
