this is what separates the good from the great. the great care much more than normal people. Jordan cared, Tiger cares, Gretzky cared. These people don't settle for their B game no matter what the event. This is something you're born with.

You're either Roger Federer...a person who was talented but who had to will himself to become the champion he is. Or you're like Richard Gasquet or Marat Safin...tennis prodigies who just don't give a shit and produce brilliance when they feel like it.

You are right. I like Safin and Gasquet, but I think Roger is more talented than both of them put together :). What is truly rare is to be that outrageously gifted and still be disciplined and humble and hardworking, like Roger is. He truly is a joy to watch.
