  • I used to be a raw foodist..then I let christmas and thanksgiving foods take over..now going back has been more difficult than ever, not to mention all the pounds I put on D: The raw food lifestyle is such a beautiful thing, I hope to go back to it someday <3

  • How about DietOramy weight-reduction plan? Have you found of this? I've found it at random on Google and this solution is outright astounding... I am losing my excessive fat and looking healthier and stronger.

  • I've found DietOramy eating regimen (you can easily find it on Google) - that fat loss system is clearly mind-boggling, I eat as much as I like and I am yet dropping those nasty extra pounds - the catch is in distinct groups of nutrients, absolutely not in calories...

  • For protein try Hemp protein powder. Its amazing, has all the amino acids (important for building muscle) and lots of other nutrients.

  • greens and spinach have tons of protein.... how many times have you heard a doctor say someone has a "protein deficiency"??? Come on. Raw is the way. I've lost tons on this diet.

  • raw meet too?? hee hee

  • OMG Your body needs fat!!!Look at all the wrinkles on Rachel Zoe's forehead, she avoided fat her whole life and look what happened. You need fat, good fats like avocados and nuts and olive oil.If you are eating a raw diet, eating 2 avocados a day won't make you fat because fruits and vegetables are low in calories.

  • I'm sorry I have never seen a so called "raw food" dieter look healthy or young. They all look old, gaunt, and unattractive.I mean the lady speaking is not unattractive but she sure doesn't look young.

  • Protein in veg lots of info in raw food communities like raw food rehab, raw food kempo master, life regenerator

  • She's gorgeous. She looks very young and healthy, nice sized breasts, etc...MILF

  • @jaguarpaws7 she doesn't look young at all, she looks deprived

  • why is she sitting outside of a hospital entrance?

  • What they still dont tell you is most of the raw foods sold are RIPE and not very good.

  • en 5 semanas he perdido 12 kilos con la dieta dukan!!, estoy encantada, probadla que es muy buena!!!

  • are you concerned about cancer. as a prevention, consume a lot of raw fruits/ veges. if you are dictated by your tongue, go ahead and eat all the fast foods in the world.

  • Aim to increase the percentage of raw food/unprocessed food from wherever you're at now, to 80% or so raw. Probably best to do it over time.. slowly adding more good items and dropping more bad items.. nuts are high in fat, but not the same kind of fat... greens have building blocks of protein that your body puts together.. especially with a squeeze of lemon juice..

  • my favorite question is- where do cows get their protein? from grass...how easy is that?? most animals(big ones might i add) never eat beans, seeds, and grains(not naturally anyhow!) and when they do such as in the industrial cattle farms, they get very sick. and yes, humans have gotten use to eating less bulk and way more calories. "i could never eat that much salad" "10 bananas a day?! that's crazy"

  • @benjorgensen1 humans are natural omnivores.Meat is what enabled humans to grow bigger brains. To compare a human to a cow or a cattle is silly.I mean following your theory ever wonder why 10,000 million herds of cattle can't figure out that they outnumber a group of wolves (who work together) and they always get eaten by the wolf??Because they wolf is a meat eater and the cow is a grass eater.

  • @beshnola Hi ... It is not only eating meat that contributed to a larger brain but cooked food ... because it took less energy for our bodies to digest and process these food. Over the evolutionary process there was now more energy available to develop other organs and functions such as the size of our brains and intelligence. (As the theory goes). I am not a raw foodist but just inquiring on the potential benefits and weight management.

  • @trini2sweet4u In our modern society, excess energy goes to make us fat and sick, not into stronger functions and larger brain.

  • @tomnusikos Yes you are right. My comment was in regards to the evolutionary progress regarding the change of our diets.

  • What if you are juicing your veggies and fruit, what can you do to add fiber? And what else is lost while juicing?

  • @zsdg34 first of all, you dont need fiber in everything. that's kind of the whole point of juicing, to give a break from digesting fiber to get to the nutrients. so you have a tonic of instantly available nutrients for cellular healing. but, by the way chia seeds are one of my favorite seeds, they can be added to juices and smoothies and you can make raw puddings with them because they absorb 10 times their weight in water and form these little caviar like balls. their're neat!

  • Or you can just eliminate junk food and eat more fish instead of red meat! You can get enough of almost all vitamins in fruits and vegetable

  • This diet is a form of rehabilitation for both physical and mental injuries

  • What are the odds!, She is standing infront of an reabilitation hospital...(because of that diet.).

  • @Poodleinacan haha, any diet can be done wrong my friend. but look at Doug Graham for example. superman.

  • If you need vitamin pills, it's not healthy!

    Herp Derps!

  • rawkhonk

  • All acidic foods (meat, dairy, eggs, grains) must be neutralized with calcium magnesium, potassium, sodium. If you eat mostly alkaline diet, you build up reserves of these precious minerals. You can check how your body is handling how much acid you take in by testing the PH of your saliva in the morning.

  • Makes perfect sense.

  • I agree with everything except the protein "Myth". Humans do not need to seek protein. Proteins are chains of amino acids. There are 24 amino acids essential to the human body, 12 of which we produce ourselves and the other 12 we need to consume. Raw Fruits and leafy Greens have all the amino acids we need in the form of live enzymes. There has never been a case of protein deficiency in medical history, and excess protein has been linked to many diseases. Living food for the living body

  • @Gabe1449 I am about to start a raw food diet, starting tomorrow. I have been researching and learning a lot online... i am very excited and ready to get started. I am just very afraid of deficiency... especially B12.. :\

  • @DrummerChickxx Vitamin B12 is neither produced by animal nor plant but by bacteria and is actually synthesized in our own small intestines. As long as you eat a variety of raw fruits and vegetables you will be giving your body all the essential nutrients it needs to thrive. If you are still concerned about B12 deficiency then drink Raw Kombucha, it has live enzymes and B12. For complete Raw Vegan Nutritional guidance I highly recommend reading The 80/10/10 by Dr. Douglas N Graham. Good Luck.

  • @TheAmericanOriginal Seriously? You need to be told how to start? Here is how......go to the store, buy some lettuce......eat it. That is how you start.

  • @jerseygrl5 Youre an idiot stop blowing what people say out of proportion

  • @TheAmericanOriginal Hope that little rant makes you feel better about your pathetic self.

  • @jerseygrl5 Actually people like you make me feel wonderful

  • love this video

  • Try my recipes on my channe l!! You could lose weight !!

  • A good method of losing weight - first-focus.ru/tds/diet.php

  • The protein thing is nonsense. You don't NEED seeds or beans for this. Gorillas, horses, etc get all the amino acids they need from veggies. How does she think a cow gets so big? It didn't get the protein to grow so big by eating another cow, or beans did it? It got that big from grass.

  • @LeppardPrintAnimal Yea but no one wants to eat grass.

  • @RosieLeighGreen You miss the point. The point is that vegetables have alot of protein in them.

  • @LeppardPrintAnimal I got the point, actually. I think you missed my point, the point being that some people enjoy a varied diet.

  • @RosieLeighGreen then your original comment missed the point. You can have an extremely varied raw diet, and alot of people want to eat this way. If you prefer to keep on stuffing your face with poisonous rubbish, go ahead.

  • @LeppardPrintAnimal You don't even know me to know what i eat, so is there any need in that comment? And if food was 'poisonous' then surely everyone eating it would be dead.

  • This does not to do any justice to my query "why eat raw". This lady clearly doesn't actually eat a raw diet.

  • DFVIEURVBIPERVPIBWEPRIPUWPWERHFPWUFPHWFPIHWPIUEFHWPIUPIWPIWUEFPIWFIPGU

  • I got bored and searched "how to eat food" and got here ;D

  • @DragovainLord hahahahahahhaaa!

  • second reason is incorrect, our body absorb more energy from raw food than from standard foods, that's why you can eat much less and having more energy. however, calories are becoming irrelevant on raw food diet.

  • @justDVL Good to know,thanks!

  • The key is to sprout seeds. All meat and milk products cause an immune response. It is your body but your choice to eat slaughtered animals. Perhaps people would think twice if they actually did the raising, killing, gutting and cleaning of the animals themselves. Soylent Green anyone?

  • @glycop orthorexia anyone ?

  • Orthorexia is not yet a medically recognized term. Facts are facts and all milk and meat cause an immune response.

  • grilled fish has no carbs low fat low gi and excellent for obesity diabeites etc no need to eat like a raw animal. It tastes like garbage.

  • @TerryNoble actually if you eat fish today you are asking for trouble - GMO salmon is good eat it ;) Watch raw for 30 that is about the only thing that works for diabetics.

  • "The biggest problem is getting protien."

The front rows of teeth are for devouring squirrels and other small animals.

  • It is NOT a choice you murderer, you dont need to eat animals so you shouldn't 1oo BOLLION animals slaughtered so you have a freaking choice, YOU ARE AN IMBECILE.and a corpse muncher I hope heart disease diabetes and cancer get you soon to spare animals lives

  • @dlmb43 Jesus, how very hateful. Thats unfortunate.

  • @dlmb43 you know we are designed to eat meat... its all based on opinion. So chill...

  • @dlmb43 and you're an angry zealot

  • @plutoplatters dunning kruger much?

  • Theres is protein in EVERY FRUIT AND VEGETABLE ON THE PLANET you idiot! ONly 6% OF YOUR DIET NEEDS TO BE PROTEIN. Learn REAL human nutrition before speaking on it

  • I understand eating fruits and veges raw for the purpose of gaining maximum vitamins and minerals but I dont understand why it is necessary to avoid eating foods such as grains and legumes that need to be cooked in order to be edible to consume? You are still getting the nutrients from them aren't you? If one was to consume legumes and grains raw is it ok to eat even after soaking? If so how long is it necessary to soak them in order to eat them?

  • @jadoreXx seriously. this is over the top. cavemen used fire to cook their food so why should we not be allowed?

  • @hodgrix good point, although I don't think it's a matter of being 'allowed' to or not, it is more of a personal choice. If one choses to eat certain foods a certain way because they want more nutrients, I wouldn't be against that, good on them.. moreover there is nothing wrong with cooking foods either. I have just been eating raw foods for the past week and have noticed an immense change in my overall well being! Got rid of sugar cravings, skin is clearing up and energy is amazing! I am for it

  • @hodgrix its a choice.....

  • i love this video its going to help me with my weight loss

  • Pseudoscience BULLSHIT!

  • also there is info about the raw food plant diet in Victoria Boutenko's book, Green for Life

  • the raw plant food diet contains all the protein needed for health. also there are plenty of athletes who are living testimonies to the raw plant food diet. i go to the blog on the rawforlife website for thoroughly researched information. hope this helps

  • I think I would do a "mostly" raw food diet and I'd just eat cooked beans... soaking them would take too long! Garbanzo beans and black beans are my favorites.

  • soaking rice an beans lol. why cant we just eat healthy .
