My friend just bought a 25hr jet card for the G5 and it only cost him 225k. I think it's because he has an AMEX Black Xard and every month he gets some sort if huge discount/promotion. Like last month was season tickets/skybox for any NFL team for 50 present off. He's got all that, just for owning a server platform company.
@neocon6716 Chartering is the chumps way to fly.fractional ownership is the way to go and MarquisJet is the company to go with.,for less than 400 large,you get to OWN a G450,at 25 hours at a time.And you get what YOU want on a flight interms of snacks,ect. You like Milos sweet tea and strawberry Pop Tarts?you got it,you like Jim Bean black label and Davidorf cigars?,you got it,want to travel with your cat(in the seat next to you) and he only eats Iams? they can fix kitty up.your time,your plane
@owlcritic Nah, fractionals are a huge waste of money unless you fly like 150 hours a year, and by then you should just whole-own a jet anyways. Jet cards are the way to go. 250k and you're not locked into an aircraft. Service is miles better too. Google Magellan Jets sometime.

@owlcritic You can have all that with charter, and Marquis Jet is not a fractional ownership program, it is charter, pure and simple. Its pre paid charter, you do not own anything like you do with fractional ownership. Marquis Jet is the share owner, and you pay Marquis to use their share.
True, true. Chartering is the way to go. But I'm cheap, as people say. I fly in economy always. However, I always stay in 4 or 5 star hotels. I prefer spending at the destination, not on the transportation. The flight is only few hours but you might spend a week or more at the destination. It's the hotel + services there that matter (to me). But, you only live once, and everyone is free to spend their money as they wish:D
Are you becoming an airline pilot (or pilot for some business jet firm)? Good job and congrats! I believe that you will find the work very interesting and rewarding.
