Surely all of you people know that, without any particular instrument featured in a given song, the song wouldn't have the same beautiful effect as it does with it. Every part is equally important. Melodies, counter-melodies, harmonies, percussion, etc.- There is no chief instrument. There is only a band performing a song in unity. Now stop your bitching.

I think trumpets are more essential than tubas, nothing against tubas though, I love them. But trumpets have a more bright melodic sound and tubas usually support them with a darker sound, and without trumpets they wouldn't have much to support.

what people dont understand is we might be the hardest instument to play. we only have three valves (dont know if i can spell that right) and we have alot of notes. most by changing our embisher (cant spell that either), or mouth position
