And yeah, I guess the ones with power that's involved in the anti-whaling movement is not making much progress. Japan is one of the country with a very long whaling history. However, US were the first ones to endanger bunch of whales and forced quits to the world. All the US whalers did was take out the oil from the whales and dump the rest into the ocean.

@ccexped And IWC can't do anything since it's still following the regulation so it's pretty cheap. Other countries was also recently caught for lying about the numbers of whales they caught. And they actually caught twice the amount Japan did during that time(forgot which country). At this pace, I wouldn't be surprised if one of the whales that's allowed to catch goes extinct or endangered. I guess that would be the only chance for IWC or others to do something about whaling.
