My only complaints with Sonic 2006 were Sonic's speed stages, Silver's Dusty Desert level and the times when Rouge can't get herself off a wall. Beside those, I find nothing wrong with the game. it's like sega ran out of ideas. the gameplay is so much like sonic adventure, the basic plot is very save-the-princess like (see:Mario), and concerning the animation: It's like Sega's pretending to be Square Enix. This was probably one of the least original games from Sega. Sega has had tons of crazily original ideas (see: Feel the Magic; Space Channel 5, etc.) They should put some more creatviity into their main franchise.

Sonic is not made for PS3 its for Nintendo/Dreamcast and my favorite was sonic adventure 1/2.
sonic riders is also good it has a good story line but still not good enough.
The worst was Sonic and the secret rings or something like that.
