I am happy with it. Bought it about a year & a half ago. It folds up pretty tight if you need to carry it into an area, and it doesent weigh to much..I can dump a 3/4 full bucket into the hopper, so its good for a one person operation. If you really plan on moving alot of material, the Keene 151 is a great option too.
What originally got me looking was the use of the vacuum. But I have to say, trying to find a vidoe on the Keene 140 was a challenge. Have you ever sucked up wet material with the vacuum? Did it work if you did? What kind of suction does it have? Is there a Shop vac comparison to give me some idea. Great video btw! Thanks for sharing.
A shop vac has much better suction. If you can carry a generator to the spot , then I would go with the shop vac. This spot is a hike to get to so the portable vacuum works well for my needs. I only use it for dry material because I use a dry recovery system. Use the shop vac for wet stuff if you are using a wet recovery system.
@MrPucky8 I noticed there werent any Keene 140 vids on youtube, and thought I would try and depict how it really is. You can go big and process alot of material, but that is taking a chance too...as you saw , not to much gold was found....yet
Looks like the keene 140 is a good one . Are you happy with it ?
