Do you have to save your ghosts to unlock T.T? I dont have a save pac so i cant save my ghosts

I just unlocked him on the DS version! It was so frikin hard! Especially some races with the Hovercraft such as Whale Bay & Pirate Lagoon. The Hovercraft sucks major balls. Some of the Plane one were very hard as well. It was all well worth it though!

there is no way to beat t.t on all courses without tapping the A button.. i remember when i was a kid i raced every race PERFECT for t.t. and i still wouldnt even match to him. i tried all short cuts hit all the zip turbo pads and i still couldnt beat him on certain tracks, until one day i found out that tapping A makes u go faster and made all tracks on a reasonable difficulty

@thewisejanitor These videos prove it is possible. The A button thing is a glitch. Rare wouldn't have made this impossible on purpose. Beating T.T. is quite easy actually; you just need to practice.

@95tTony Weeeeeeell. I guess I just got massive skill xD But just try, it's not as hard as it sounds! ONE advice: Before you reach this "power fields" that make you faster, stop pushing the "A" button, than you'll get an extra bost. By the way, sorry for my bad English ^.^

you dont need 47 balloons..... you just need to have future fun land unlocked.

hey i beat the tt on all four races but it dont unlock him i started a new game on the adventure part and when i talked to tt when you start a new adventure game and he explains that he can save you your best ghost i only see where it says "time trial off" in grey letters, when you check your status ,does it always say this even in a new adventure game cuz i cant switch on or off and also do you need a pak to save the ghost when you beat t.t.?

@HustletwnMexican Firstly, yes you need a pak to save ghosts. Also, you need to race T.T. on ALL of the courses in the game, not just these four. Use the "Tracks" option from the game's main menu.

@paulanthonyrhodes0 you have to go into adventure mode, run into tt, turn time trial mode on, then enter a level. if you beat it fast enough (that's an important "if") the next time you play it T.T. will be there

Tapping A repeatedly while driving a car makes you exceed the car's natural top speed, allowing you to go significantly faster and making T.T. races a breeze.

usually without tappin your a little uner 60

tap like crazy and youll be over 60.

when you hit zippers LET GO of the gas.youll get a green flame.

then tap hard as hell quickly afterward.

youll hit 150.

Dumbass... For you to get a better boost, just let go of the A button. That's not a cheat. The genie says that as a help during the game.

@uglymonk1 That fast thing is to do with easing off the accelerator before hitting the zipper. Yes He is fast there but if you try it T.T speeds off that zipper to (i tried this yesterday time trail this level. So yes it is possible

i got about 0:55 on Ancient Lake and still havent unlocked his ghost. do you have to be a car for specific levels?

As you see in this video you do. Ancient Lake, etc needs to be done in a car except the volcano map. That you do in a plane. But don't worry, T.T is easier to beat in a air plane.

Just unlocked TT myself without the A button glitch, used the mouse for car/plane and tip tup for hovercraft, TT is really fast but his handling aint as good as the mouse, still getting used to TT, well worth the effort =)

It can't be real, Tip Tup does not run as fast as the video shows. I do the same way, and after the first zipper, TT gains a lot of advantage.
