The guy she gave the manual had hidden the book and created a map for her to find it - so if the house has been wired by anybody (other than the guy who had been orderd by Jack B. to set explosives) it would have been the guy Irina D. gave the manual to.

@ViKiBrE the name jack and sidney knew her as is laura- her fake name. however her real name is irina. jack's just used to calling her laura
