Renault clio 1.2 twin exhaust noise

Do all standard 1.2 clios apart from the newer ones come with a rev limiter as i'm thinking of getting one just to mess around in?

I'm just going to chirp in and say it's obviously the Clio making the noise, the Clio's exhaust wobbles slightly when it's started and the Evo, correct me if I'm wrong, is running anti-lag which by revving it that much would be popping a lot more than the Clio does, usually followed by the odd flame or two

@djvideos9427 Sorry mate but why would i try and fob off an evo exhaust sound for my wifes clio,i got better things do than make fake vids?the noise is from the clio and an evo does not sound like that when it starts.As for you saying you can see a guy in the front of the evo,well i would love to know how you think a steering wheel looks like a person lol the only people who were there was me filming and my mrs in the clio.Look at my vid of my evo at the same place being driven to here its sound

my sunroof in my 2000 clio used to leak every time it rained and you went around a corner you got soaked lol

@kingjowl funny you should say that as it stared leaking a couple of months ago,but bit doesn't always do it.But when it does the Mrs gets a wet ass LOL.I take it it is a common problem?any known fix

@uptheduffagain bad times ! its a common problem, some have found temporary fixes but most of the time it just comes back as an unidentifiable fault i just sold mine after clogging the sunroof drains with grease and trying to change the rubber seal for 2 years got a golf instead thank god

if your sun roof is leaking.. take it out.. inside the car pull the trim away where the sunroof is.. and undo the bolts that hold the sun roof in place.. take it out and re seal the hole lot. then bolt it back together. it will never leak again.. just make sure you replace the two drain pipes..

@uptheduffagain my x-reg clio grande does this as well so im guessin its a problem through out the clios? mine seems to do it when i have frost on my sun roof that defrosts and then that drips through from by the interior light. is this the same as yours?

@Harding193 the exhaust has to be cut to remove rear section and new exhaust slips over the top of the standard system and then is clamped on

why have a noisy car? i prefer fast and quiet, not dead slow and noisy! A 1.2 is not exactly a racing car, save your money for a better car.

Does that mean downhill? because that is understandable. but trust me mate no standard clio 1.2 16v can do 120mph. maybe about 113mph. A 1.4 could do 120mph if your getting mixed up? And i understand that the 182 cup is faster :) xx

@sladen1720 I have a standard 1.2 clio dynamic 04 plate (: I max out at about 112MPH, then my car starts shaking, so I slow down :P I doubt that guy can get 120 even down hill, unless he plans on blowing the car up lool

The sellers user id on ebay is dpmotor1 . type that into the community search on ebay and it will bring up there ebay shop.Just make sure you buy one from them that is designed for the clio and not a universal back box.Hope this helps

ive got exactly the same car as you and was thinking of getting one for it , was also thinking of putting some team dynamics 100+ 16 inch alloys on lowering it a little bit and tinting the windows, what you think??

the seller on ebay is call dpmotor1 and item number is 140294461742.the car isnt mine but my wifes, i got her the exhaust for christams,mine is the evo to the side of it (see my other vid of it).i was thinking of getting her some wheels as a suprise but not too sure what would look good as wheels are a personal choice i think and i may get it wrong.
