what was Brian's job? why was he hanging out in the hospital like that? shouldn't he be at home with his wife and kids?

Brian was the Commissioner of social works or something like that .. for the city. And he was also a social worker at the hospital. After the Laurelton storyline, Brian's job as social worker meant he had to supervise Lucy Coe's community service at the hospital. LOL

As a Canadian I am beginning to wonder if this is the Canadian location they used in 1985. I know there was one location Finola couldn't get across the border until Gloria threw a fit and then we let her in!! LOL

"When I first joined the show we went on location to Vancouver. It was for this whole Chinatown mystery story that involved Robin's doll with the black pearl eyes. I was only 7, so being outside on location was really fun. I got to run around in the rain. We worked on a dock, and it was like shooting a movie. Finola Hughes (Anna), Tristan Rogers (Robert) and Jack Wagner (Frisco) were all there.

So was Gloria Monty, who was producing at the time. It was awesome hanging out with all of them. As a kid, it was fun not to be in a studio and to be someplace new. I remember Vancouver was really beautiful, too."

I sill don't understand what the issue would be with Finola coming into Canada? She was British and Canada is British Commonwealth. Unless it was more Work Visa related?

It probaby had something to do with her Green Card and not having the right visa to work in Canada. Or... maybe not being in ACTRA? LOL
