When I was young, I was always too impatient to watch the whole thing. Right around the time I beat the water temple (which was so challenging for me I ragequit the entire game for several months) I actually watched the whole thing the first time I re-tried it.
It was beautiful to me, and today it makes me cry from nostalgia.
I was 9 when this game first came out. Watched my brother beat 8 years straight. By then DreamCast/PS2/XBOX/GameCube/PSP/360 have already came out. That's how great this game is.

Bad Graphics? What defines good graphics" Crisp? 1080p? The artwork in this game has to be the most beautiful artwork ever put into a game. The graphics give feel to the game. This game wouldn't be the same with modern day graphics. The graphics in this game evoke a sort of emotion that no other game can bring out. I don't care how good the graphics on God Of War or Halo look. They have nothing on the graphics of Ocarina of Time.
Ocarina of Time puts COD, Halo, Guitar Hero, and everything else to shame. Nothing will ever be able to compete with what Nintendo put out in the 80s and 90s.

I love this intro and game! It doesnt require use of the C-Buttons(meaning you cant spam) or B. This game had the best Voice Actors of ANY Zelda game. I want the Link voices of this game/Majora's Mask back in!

Every time I see this intro and hear the music I feel really sad. Not because it was a sad time playing this game, quite the opposite. The nostalgia brings me back to my childhood, a time when I was actually happy. As far as gaming goes, this one had the biggest impact on me. I really don't think games these days hold the same spark as older ones. I don't know what it is, but it feels as if something is missing. I guess I'm just too old now, and the nostalgia is getting to me. :(

there are no other words for that. I also feel sad when I think about zelda, cause of a video, advertising, a song or even a brief look at my old N64 with OOT and MM on it. It's more like a beautiful sadness. feels like the story of Link was MY childhood, an adventure created of every phantasy a child can have. The hardest fact is; there are so many people outside that will never understand me/you.

game was great, i was only 5-6 when i played it last now i am 13,never managed to complete it as i was not inteligent enough to master some of those puzzles and wasn't a amazing reader but i still loved this game !!i've played all the new ones MW2 and gow2 there just not the same...

The legend of zelda will always be the greatest memory of my childhood. I remember we didnt have much, but being able to play this with my little brother growing up was something im glad i did

Every time I see this intro and hear the music I feel really sad. Not because it was a sad time playing this game, quite the opposite. The nostalgia brings me back to my childhood, a time when I was actually happy. As far as gaming goes, this one had the biggest impact on me. I really don't think games these days hold the same spark as older ones. I don't know what it is, but it feels as if something is missing. I guess I'm just too old now, and the nostalgia is getting to me. :(

What is missing bro,is the eagerness to create a good story instead of good graphics.The eagerness to give us a unique and pleasant experience with every game that we play instead of the eagerness of making money.That's what I think.I've played many different games and nowaday games don't really get into me as the old ones.

there are no other words for that. I also feel sad when I think about zelda, cause of a video, advertising, a song or even a brief look at my old N64 with OOT and MM on it. It's more like a beautiful sadness. feels like the story of Link was MY childhood, an adventure created of every phantasy a child can have. The hardest fact is; there are so many people outside that will never understand me/you.
