The piece of wood was left at BMW M in 2005 when I was picking up my 2005 645. The M6 in the video is an Individual 2010 M6.

A have a dream to,I wan a BMW M6 Individual,with special features such as carbon fiber hard top convertible,carbon fiber interior details (dash board,central panel,back of the front seats) c/f rear spoiler,lowered body kit w/c/f again,.big &wide factory 19..... What a dream,idea.Maybe some people from BMW in Munich will make me one,and give it to me as a present for a good idea,and they will push that on the lane for a future models,of an 6 series.Or maybe I'm to late w/that!

Too many people here criticizing a car that someone worked hard to purchase, and spent a lot of time and money into making it "their own". You guys should consider keeping the comments on the "positive criticism" side at least, specially if you don't have the keys to something nicer, or of comparable quality in your pockets.

The color looks elegant, the wood is one of a kind, and it's an amazing car with one of the best engines ever produced in it. Quit the hating.

I never liked the 6-series, they were just ugly in my opinion. I respected the M6 because its a beast of a car. But it's still butt ugly, and that gold color makes it even worse. But hey that is why it is called "individual" because it is made to that individual's taste.

@rdf7777 The Ontario Gold is a very unique color named after the Ontario Motorsport Raceway in California, and I believe it represents the track very well. I doubt you know anything about that. The wood isn't just unique, it is also exclusive and an homage to Hawaii.

You know, Toyota has brake problems in some plastic-made cars. In Mexico, Honda is calling for all of the 07-08 Odysseys because of some issues they have. Yes, BMW is expensive but it has execellent quality. My 95´ E38 has more than 200K miles and it is still perfect, well if you take goos care of it like i do.

Except when you get into the cooling aspect, clutch feel, lack of firmness from the brakes, and no LSD's for non-M cars...

I won't sell my E39 though. I just upgraded to a zionsville rad, M5 lsd, wilwood calipers (brackets still need to be fabricated), and I need to replace that sac clutch!

Other than that there is always improvement. 'Individual' doesn't carry enough equipment for my taste.

BMW should have fired their design team when the E65 shape was proposed!

One day I will be very successful person and will buy one of these cars. This guy's a programmer and he's done very well apparently. I can't imagine how much more this individualization of the M6 is. Probably makes the car well over twice what it would normally cost. Beautiful design though!
