『　スタッフ＆キャストの制作にかける愛情、そして時間、そして制作­費だ！！！』

と吼えておりますが、全部欠けるとこうなってしまうという典型で­すね。

ちゃんと連携して作業しないで丸投げするから悪いんだと思う。

それと、動きについては予算の問題が大きいんだと思う。

1クールごとの予算は固定されてる場合が多いそうで、画像枚数が­多くなるとそれに比例してお金は嵩むから、動きのいい回のがある­とバランスをとるためにこういう回が出て来るんじゃないのかな。

総集編でしのぐという方法もあるけどね。

......This looks like it was animated by CartoonNetwork studios. (Nowadays. They actually tried when this came out. I mean with the recent animations), it's so bad. I mean, they could have told everyone that they had a quality failure with time and stuff, but, meh, that wouldn't have make it worse than it actually is....haha....this is aweful animation...

Actually there was a fire at the studio that destroyed the original animation cells which explains the "crappy"animation quality. Even so, it's a pretty good anime.

Smart move, I must admit. Ep 4 is so broken that it looks like unfinished skeleton off the tape, rather than full product. Good thing all episodes aren't like that...

I agree and looked into why and found out it actually is an unfinished skeleton.

Seems there was a studio fire some time before it was intended to be aired and much of the first several episodes were lost. Instead of delaying airing they did a rush job and slapped some band-aids on it.

Later episodes were unaffected by the fire, but the studio became short on funding.

前にスレイヤーズ作ってた時も怪しい時があったのですが、さすが­にここまでは・・・　神作画＆動きまくる回もあったりして凄い時は凄かったんですけど­ね。

小説の方は結構面白かったですよ。

The 4th episode Yashigani Hofuru (ヤシガニ屠る), lit. feasting on Coconut crab, which aired on April 24, 1998, was initially worked on by a South Korean animation company, San Ho Studio. They only had basic manuals of the characters. The result was so dismal in quality that it was later reworked for the LaserDisc releases.

This is the famous yashigani episode, the producer ran out of manpower and outsourced this episode to some random studio in korea. The result is this cxxp. I feel sorry for a fine story to be hurried into something unviewable. They had to remake the entire thing for LD release.

This is the famous Yashigani episode. Basically, the animation studios overseas screwed the main developers up delaying all the frames and caused the terrible frame rates. Bascially this is reason it caused Lost Universe popularity down. If you noticed, even the opening was incomplete in this (and the other ealier episodes)

She is the bright figure that gives Filia the baby dragon egg with Val.
