It seemed a little fast, didn't really speed up, but the overall bpm was a little too fast.
This may sound weird, but it kinda seemed TOO complex, a more simple laid back beat would have suited this song better i think. but hey, that's just me.
Overall I thought it was good. I thought it was very controlled.

I appreciate the effort, but the song has to build gradually to be effective. 4/4 right away takes all dynamic out of the song in the first 30 seconds. Love the song, we worship with it too at my church, but stick to the original recording for dynamic purposes.
The Prob with this song for most drummers is speeding up and playing over the top. I have to use a "Clickstation" to keep it at the proper BPM.........this version here on utube is like the movie Speed! lol sounds good but man its moving ! peace.
@jibmuh What is meaningful to one can mean nothing to another. Music is only an avenue to express worship. I thank God for the diversity he created. He alone knows the weight, depth, and measure of our love and appreciation for him. How we play for teenagers can differ from how we play for young adults, or even more mature members. There can also be difference from practice to service, but that comes from an awareness of the Spirit, and the attitude those worshiping with you.
@rajvinjamuri7 When we played that day I had only heard Matt sing and play the song several times. I hadn't heard the actual version until after, so I didn't realize how far off the drum part is from the original.. Thanks for appreciating the attempt.
