  • man this track was fire. big shout to tthe green eyed bandit get well soon and put out some more heat homie

  • Red was siiiiiiiick back then!!!!!

  • no offense dude but there are way more great mc's from the east coast...its just the way it is. I still like Andre from the south, and Pac and Ras Kass from the west i love

  • my favorites list is different from my best list. favorites: Nas Redman Mos Def Canibus Raekwon Common GZA Kool G Rap 2Pac
  • Big classic**

  • Mn they dont make music like this anymore!! What a shame!

  • R.E.A.L ...so fuckin real. miss that nowadays it's fucked up

  • Red was the best in the game around this time

  • And if I did a list tomorrow half the ones I mention would probably change!!!

Mainstream has NO idea how rich this HIP HOP culture really is. While there's still people putting on vids like this, and ppl seeking it out, clicking on it, and educating their peoples, Hip Hop will never die.

    Let's take back our shit.

  • Real Hip Hop

  • the green eyed bandit! all the way nice kade

  • shit is dope

  • classic... nuff said

  • Smokin the LALA

  • this is the first def squad song

  • Absolutely DISGUSTING beat! God DAMN! ALL ABOUT THAT 90s SHIT!

  • pur son

  • kill yourself keith murray is a beast and a real nigga he be knockin niggaz out

  • @AlexPilidis

listen better dude. every line is on the beat like clockwork.

  • what the fuck u talkin about keith aint got no flow? hes got the best lyrics u asshole cock boy

  • Double or Nothing is probably one of my top 20, maybe even top 10.

  • @Luchini731 and yiu knowthis meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeen

  • bad tune eric was my man

  • Why iz Redman never mentioned in yall Top Emcees list

  • No doubt! Redman is sick!

  • @ThaFlyestMoor72

because redheads are also potheads most of the time......so, why was i typing this?

  • lol but Red iz still the sickest out of Jersey in Hip hop period

  • @ThaFlyestMoor72 He is in mine. In no particular order. (It's impossible) 1. Kool G Rap 2. Redman 3. Keith Murray 4. Black Thought 5. GZA 6. Mr Eon 7. El-P 8. Notorious BIG 9. Inspektah Deck 10. Canibus 11. Rakim 12. Jamal 13.Jeru tha Damaja 14. CL Smooth 15. Immortal Technique see what I mean, it's impossible. As soon as you start to write a list, you realise there's 20 rappers that could go in almost ANY slot. And no,2Pac or Eminem wouldn't get in the 1st top 20
  • @JayGriffinblaze I'm feeling that list

  • @JayGriffinblaze a little east coast biased no?

  • @ThaFlyestMoor72 because his not lyrical advanced , hes not bad at all but hes not considred as good and advanced as big dady kane and rakim

  • @Leoooonard i hope thats a joke. redman is one of the most quick-witted and clever emcees ever. if nothing else impresses you, im sure the song green island will

  • @torsrizzo69 u clearly dont know alot about hiphop , listen to some epmd , mf doom de la soul or tribe called quest and say redman is better , or even better ask redman if he thinks hes better then any of thoose dudes

  • @torsrizzo69 dat was a hot track "I got a degree of physics on how high I can get the next I check out many niggas that could from my tec"

  • @ThaFlyestMoor72 the dumb are mostly intrigued by the drum. same reason Eric sermon gets none. People dont listen. I completly agree though.

  • @mag3601

Who does thiz drum sample? Whoeva does it for Soulja and Wizzle is so much betta. Is this what old people listen to? I dont get it furreal.

  • @byro1884 who the fuck are you get outta here

  • @byro1884 if u cant appreciate the old skool, you a sucker to the new skool... u bet soulja and dem know this music but all they see is dollar signs.

Haters gonna hate, never will they appreciate.

  • @ThaFlyestMoor72 cuz hes good, but he aint even close to top 10, or 20, prolly in top 30

  • @ThaFlyestMoor72 cuz he has no subject in his lyrics.. his flow is very inspiring but otherwise...

  • @ThaFlyestMoor72 usually those "so call experts" who make list and give out awards don't have a clue.

  • Double Or Nothing was such a slept on album, almost every track was classic.

  • they always say true genius is never understood. E never got his due but his style was imitated endlessly during the early and late 90's. dope ass stuff...

  • True, but people don't even realize how good of a producer E is.

  • Straight Street Banger.............

    Old school cant be touched!!!

  • Comment removed

  • This was one of the best albums released in 1995!! The production was tight as shit. It also showed E- Sermons lyrica growth after 7 years, since the masses always say P as the better rapper.

  • P was definately the better rapper, but E was the better producer.

  • @Herkimer291 without doubt I agree, and this album was fire for sure, this was my favourite track. I still have this on audio cassette!! Still on my MP3 playlist daily!

However PMD WAS always the better rapper. However Chilltown NY is for me Erick's real moment of growth (maybe in terms of content).

Interesting to note, (with the exception of his commercial albums) E's solo joints have all been compulsive listening, with few duff tracks.

I've rhymed in London on stage with E!!

  • That 'DOUBLE OR NOTHING' Album GOTZ DAT COSMIC BOOTSY COLLINS SIZZLE!!!!

  • good look

  • ooo this brings back memories
