This phone is not good. When it sleeps, sometimes it is unable to turn back on and i have to restart the system. Secondly the camera is terrible trust me. Thirdly, after a while problems start surfacing, the buttons become unresponsive, the system hangs once in a while and when i get an incoming call the phone hangs at times when i try to answer the call. Lastly, the battery doesn't last for long...

The slow album response is probably due to the fact that the animation is a real animation whilst htc's album is real physics based kinetic scrolling.

@115ivan this obviously!!! they cant be compared, WinMo 6.1 vs 6.5 and the Acer's 1Ghz snapdragon CPU.... but i would prop advise you the iPhone 3G and jailbreak it, because jailbreak gives soo much to the iPhone... and im not, never was iphone fan...

@115ivan yes but htc magic has much smaller screen, smaller specs, and android aint same as HTC Hero, if you want something weaker and cheaper go for HTC Hero but not the magic... Hero has way better Android interface, look on youtube... Im soon getting this or N97 or maybe the HD2 if ill hav a gd budget ;)

Acer NeoTouch is certainly great, but browsing of the photo gallery is a great letdown. The interface lags and isn't that responsive. But a great Win. Mobile 6.5 handset by Acer :)

Great video. I especially liked the part where typing on Microsoft Word is shown. The Acer S200 obviously isn't as good as it could be, but hey, it's the cheapest Snapdragon WinMo phone you can get, so there is an advantage.

On a sidenote, I hate how Youtube has this constant annotation that says to go to the main website to watch the damn video.

I've got an Acer S200 and I totally agree with you, software fail! However, it's easy to install Touchflo3D and Opera Mobile 9.7 on the device and it transforms it into something more user-friendly. Acer really have taken a barebones approach to this phone, but it is possible to make it loads better.
