Actually two guys singing in the background died which are TCD and Mercury (he died of a Heart Attack at age 30). Their DJ (who was never in their videos or performances....except for New York Hot Tracks in 1984), Doc Rock I think, died of unknowned causes. Force MD's should get on the next season of TVOne's Unsung along with The Sylvers, O'Bryan, Carrie Lucas, Con Funk Shun, Cherrelle, Alexandeer O'Neal, The Time, Shirley Murdock, and Anita Baker.

these dudes gave new edition swag (i dont like that word as much) when they did their r&b hip hop combo style. both groups are my favorite groups. they paved the way for so many groups to come along. i think of Force Mds as the big brothers and New Edition as the little brothers.
