what you mean by counter-steer

@FatLace25 The front wheels are always steering the opposite direction to the way the car is pointed, unlike normal 50:50 4WD rc drift chassis which will tend to have very little or zero counter.

hi. i want to get started in drifting and want to know what would be my best bet. i want either a yokomo mr4tc sd a ta05 or a tt01 which is best for begginer i want something i can play around with like trying a countersteer setup. tell what u think

@monsterGAUZ No, some mods will be required for both centre pulleys and diff pulleys.

How much counter steer are you getting with your VDF. I have the same chassis Im running right now with 60 percent CS. Did you do any modifications to the steering or kept everything stock? Saw you had the yokomo gram lights also ;). What Tires you run on? You have a front one-way on yours? I also got mine for 295.. its a great chassis for the price :).

@KintoJin I am currently running 1.7. We run mostly Tamiya Super Drift Tech tyres here. I now have a fairly free ball diff in the front, it helps get a little more angle under brakes. Steering is stock apart from shaving a bit off the knuckle arms for a little more lock. I also have double-yoke CVDs coming soon to get rid of the shake near full lock. Apart from that, I'm very happy with it. :D

@Illidan1337 You get really good stickers with the Yokomo D1 replica bodies. Most of the stickers on this one are actually from the "460 power" S14 Silvia.

You can buy separately but it's not cheap that way, might aswell get the body shell too.

@slidingjosh Rear pulley = TA04 32T, centre/r pulley = 21T 3-Racing "Sakura" (SAK07B) (I cut the standard pulley carrier in half so it only holds one pulley now), Front Pulley = Cyclone 39T, centre/f pulley = 15T TA04 Alloy (Seems like these are hard to get now, can use the Blade Racing 15T from genkidoridori)

@monsterGAUZ Double sided tape, but they fell off very quickly at the track. lol Screws might work better, but I think they will always be vulnerable to getting whacked off by stuff. lol

@kellojen That's a D1 thing, pretty much all the Japanese D1 cars are like that. I'm not sure how/why this came about, I guess they like design on the car to be symetrical.

The TLU-02 by definition needs to be smaller, like 3Racing. How did you set it up for the drift lights? You also did a nice job organising the lights, or maybe that's cuz we can't tell since it's under the person-in-car tray lol. The FF03 is the FWD. I got the PRO and I'm gonna get a Honda Civic body for it and then TRY to drift it lol.
