Such a beautiful and sad track. It kind of reminds me of the theme from Romeo and Juliet, symbolizing ill-fated love. John Williams is a brilliant composer.
I think Darth Vader wouldn't have "disliked" this video because he still had love for her. If only his tear ducts weren't entirely destroyed by the intense heat of the lava.
the question is would she have surrivied if he said a jedi???? I think she was gonna die anyways.. HE tried saving the populitie(spelling) because that was the only way he could learn to help her. I dont think he met to get involved as he did... He had no choice after what he did..

I agree with you. I'm all about Padme/Anakin so I guess I think it's a stupid rule to begin with (haha). It set him up to be preyed upon by the Emperor. Had he not fallen for Padme, or had it not forbidden, this story may have gone differently.
After watching all these epic sagas from Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, and all the other epic films and novels made throughout the centuries about Emperors, Kings, Chiefs, Statesmen, Warriors, etc. I am beginning to think that being on top of the hierarchy in society is not everything. These people cannot be people and live the life they desire, they must become symbols and possibly martyrs of a heroic notion and the life they are born into.
@EasternMerchant it doesn't matter if you're a king, or if you're a person on benefits, if you're not happy, nothings worth it. i'd rather be the lowest person on earth and have someone who loved me than wealth and position and noone to come home to.
This is trully romance, love, fear, sadness, agony...all are the trully feelings of a true love, the fear of lost the person of your life...perfect....so sad...
@Firecattutti95 If you want to be technical.. >.> Love is the most evil thing of them all. It is against the jedi code and what actually lead Anakin to turn to the dark side. v-v
@cetanu655 thats the thing though... Ani would be happy with Padme. He didnt need the Jedi anymore... but Palpatine ruined him and it wasnt love which turned him into a sith, but it was the emperor, who made him see what was not true.
@Firecattutti95 Yes, but love blinded him to the truth. When he spoke with Padme for the last time on Mustafar, it was clear that Anakin was blinded to the destruction he had unleashed among the innocent Jedi. True, the emperor did have a hand in manipulating Ani, but Ani still had the choice of falling into the emperor's trap or not. Obi-Wan was there all along telling him to be careful with his relationship with Palpatine. Love played a major role in Ani's downward spiral into the Dark Side.
@CelticLass94 but it also played the major part in his freedom and bringing balance to the force if you noticed his love for his child. Not to mention, Luke goes on to reinstate the order of the jedi and allows them to love if they want to after being witness to the destruction it caused when forbidden.
@StupidChords I do not disagree, but love did get Anakin into trouble. He wouldn't have had reason to turn rogue without Padmé. (I'm a die hard Anakin and Padmé fan, so I'm not disparaging them). Clearly, he turned to the Dark Side to engage in powers that would seem "unnatural to Jedi." Luke wouldn't have been in the picture if he had just paid tribute to the Jedi Code. Forbidden ROMANCE (only affinity was outlawed) only causes harm when someone tries to go against it (i.e. Romeo and Juliet).
@StupidChords I agree. I somehow think that the Jedi order is being criticised in ST I-III for being too duty-centered (like monks). Anakin is different: he goes to save his mother, although Obi-Wan advises him to neglect his nightmares, etc. Luke resembles Anakin. In episode VI, Obi-Wan thinks that Luke should kill Vader, but Luke refuses to do that because of his love for his father, and he manages to convert Vader. Justifies feelings and familial love, I would say.
sounds like it's playing through a phonograph. So much for "HD" quality.

This, and the Order 66 theme, are the best songs I think have been created.
When I say songs, I mean to represent something. This is the ultimate love song and Order 66 is the ultimate betrayal song.

This piece portrays emotion more than any I've ever heard in orchestral music, and I've performed and heard MANY.
