You can have HIV but not show symptoms

YOu must have the HIV virus if you are suffering from AIDS

In fact, you can have HIV but not test positive. The HIV (along with every other virus) uses YOUR CELL'S DNA to reproduce. Once it has sufficient numbers to test positive..this is called seroconversion.
