My father was a Rumanian born and raised in Yugoslavia. I remember when we were kids and we'd go to all the Rumanian weddings and parties this is the music we listened and danced to. The Mad Gypsy was one of my dad's favouritre recordings. Odd when you consider his real dad was a gypsy from outside his town and it was the skeleton in the closet for many years. I love this music and miss this culture.
