@lesiegelad This account was an inactive defense pure for a few years before I trained strength on it. 70 defense would work too. There really is no 'right' way to make an account. There are variations that will all be able to PK well, but it's just which version is most fun for you.

@TroutMaskReplicaa depends what kinda tank you wanna be..im just 40 def, i should of done d slayer but i hate quests and wear torso anyways, if your wanting higher defense and dont mind quests..do d slayer and other quests that give def exp..all though i doubt quests are gona get you any higher then 50 def..so your just gonna have to train if you want higher, hope this helped.

I need 1 more range level to be range based (63 range), plus the pray cb levels (2), and if I do it first try and you get on avg. 45-50k exp, then it'd be a little over 1 range level per attempt until 68 range. Not to mention if I lose it pking that's more range levels. Personally I'd keep my cb level low so I can fight pures for longer rather than getting a bonus at the price of combat levels.

@F2pscimzzzz I'd recommend getting addy gloves though it doesn't matter all that much. If you're lazy like me, just stick to cb brace until you have time to get addy gloves. Cb brace has higher attack bonus and equal strength bonus and is only 25k (ish?). Addy gloves make your max go up 2 damage (0.2 in old system), so it won't make or break a kill in most cases.

@lordskully6 I have been playing 3 different types, obby tank, corrupt tank, and an obby tank hybrid. And I do defenitely suggest to get 60 str and 40 def, do not get higher def than 40, especially not 45 with berserker helm. Then you will get 16 attack from the quest and will most likely get 20 after. Then you are a corrupt tank. I suggest to have either 40 def, or get 60-60+.

@remispijkenisse - I trained at rock crabs and didn't do any quests, but a lot of people like to do dragon slayer for the strength/defence exp. Oh yeah and recipe for disaster.
