I work in a restaurant that adheres to a 38 minutes table turn time. Also, you got to read the customers; some people are not going to finish eating everything on their plates

involved, as the whole table finishes the course - then those dishes are cleared to be ready for the next course. This is correct waiting basics.

I'm a waitress &I pay more attention to how long it's been since they last took a bite, rather than if their plate is only half eaten. I do that because there are people who eat almost everything &ask for literally the last bite to be wrapped up, &then there are the people who only eat a few bites &get the rest wrapped up. It's easier to tell if the're done if they haven't eaten in awhile instead of how MUCH they've eaten

You don't ask a talbe how is everything. example:You should ask, "Was your burger grilled to perfection?" And for drink refills, you never ask if a customer wants one, you refill their drink automatically. Horrible waitress. This bar she works at must be a dive.
