  • to be a good waiter, simply put, become put the word "SURVENT" in your head, dress well, and oh yes, "Even if customers are wrong, you make them feel like they are right " - let them be king and you ? just not a server, SERVENT ! you will make more tips, and less complaints. Period.

  • crappy video.

  • shes cute

  • JAJAJAJAJA SEMINOL.....just bend down and suck my dick princess

  • Did you know Ron Paul is pushing the "tax free tips act" which would allow gratuities be tax free? Just youtube it...

  • -Don't say no problem, it shouldn't be.

    -Say Sir,maddam,mister etc

-If your gonna act, atleast go to school for it.

  • i hate that you call them customers. we call them guests where i work. customer sounds so blah and cold.

  • @ficklechicken Yea that was annoying the shit out of me lol. Guests, they are my guests.

  • @NoiseGalaxy I amwith you on this one. Can you imagine the reaction of the wives when their husbands are looking up at her boobies?

  • Look at all that wasted food.

  • this looks like an intro to a porno. "o waiter, actually there is one more thing you can do for me..."

  • @thatdude734

But if you really want your guests' experience to be pretty excellent,

you shall first clean the table and leave it ready so then you take the desserts, coffee or after meal drinks orders. That'll improve the guest`s expectatives... if you know the therm "Fine Dinning" then you surely understand why am i talking about :).

  • guest not customer. customer is a transaction and a guest is a welcomed friend ,

    serving 101 .

    this girl has no clue

  • aka if you are a girl, be a slut if u want a tip

  • hahaha im almost positive that one guy is doing both voices haha 1:17. nice women voice.

  • or more like 1:15 . my bad.

  • Her grammar sticks out to me. Although I may be "just" a waitress, I always make sure I use good grammar with a table. I feel like improper grammar makes me look (not to mention sound) less professional. Then again, that could just be my pet peeve for grammar coming out.

  • Should avoid saying "No problem". That phrase suggests there could be a potential problem with helping a guest. Try "Of course", or "Your welcome."

  • Me? I would rather eat her kitty-cat for the main meal!

  • Nice job but she failed to mention the most important reason why you want to continually pre-bus. MONEY!. Unless you're lucky enough to work in a House that has continuous waiting area, or you're the only one, this will increase your income. If YOUR station has a ready table and your other foodserver(s)does(do)NOT, GUESS WHOS'S GOING TO GET THE NEXT TABLE??Also, most veterans believe that a cleared table, "reminds" a customer they're done and "its time to go" Faster turns mean more $'s

  • she is a pretty girl but not a beautiful blonde women..!!!

  • lol i like the dude saying "yes" like a girl haha

  • She sucks! There is no way I'd hire someone with her verbage! "Are You Done"?

  • 0:12 that's one hell of an inhale

  • It's not easy to serve other people. You never get paid right. It's hard work. I only serve in the weekends. I wouldn't want to do this every day

  • she's a great server. Very friendly. I'd be tempted to tip her extra, actually,

  • shes good but she should be more natural, everyone can use improvement. Those bitching about her are really fucking lame people who act nice but are full of shit.

  • To be a truly proffessional waiter and concistently serve according to every rule in the book is immensly difficult. You need proper training, supervision and experience for years. I'm sure that in a restaurant like this her level is sufficient.

If anyone here is aspiring to be a top-class waiter, stop searching for youtube videos about it! Go and get proper education from experts in real life!

  • She is doing a good job. You guys are sitting on your asses, and she is trying her best. Good Instructional Video for Beginners

  • i think this vid is about tips on how to get you fired from this job x)

  • how abt i dnt like to be asked questions wen im eating?

  • @strictlyafghan I agree with the conventional wisdom of not bothering customers when they're eating but it's also important to clear the plates whenever you can. I work in a restaurant that adheres to a 38 minutes table turn time. Also, you got to read the customers; some people are not going to finish eating everything on their plates

  • never, ever clear a table until all the clients are all done eating. It's presumptuous and gives the message "Hurry up and eat we want you out." If there are courses

involved, as the whole table finishes the course - then those dishes are cleared to be ready for the next course. This is correct waiting basics.

  • @finefooder that is for FINE DINING, which this clearly is not.

  • @finefooder I'm speculating FF works a high ticket item house. Even then I'm surprised but in any case I would suggest FF acquaint himself with average prices and food cost, then consult a multiplication table and rethink his advice for most venues. The message "hurry up and eat(or order more)we want you out", isn't all bad. The message is ALSO, we're a successful and popular restaurant, YES WE DO WANT YOU OUT, so we can take care OF ALL T HE OTHER PEOPLE WHO LOVE US!

  • I'm a waitress &I pay more attention to how long it's been since they last took a bite, rather than if their plate is only half eaten. I do that because there are people who eat almost everything &ask for literally the last bite to be wrapped up, &then there are the people who only eat a few bites &get the rest wrapped up. It's easier to tell if the're done if they haven't eaten in awhile instead of how MUCH they've eaten

  • Customers are not there to stretch out.. they need to get in, eat, and get the fuck out of the table.. so others can eat.. waiters are there to make money, not babysit.. If they want to go " stretch out.." go to a movie, or get netflix and order in..

  • Fuck you haughty, contemptuous, scoffing, angry assholes. Go for your life, clear tables you piece of shit, drink the customers piss. Be a profressional frustrated, sad-ass deadend

  • this chick would fold like a cheap suit at my work

  • ew listen to how he says yes at 1:18

  • To you all who is throwing words at eachother, chill the fuck out.. she is just showing how to be a good waiter. You dont have to flame her or similar.. jesus?

    Big fucking deal?

  • don't touch your hair

  • That was awesome. Every waiter or bartender needs to go to that com website called insidedish. Really innovative ways to make money as a waiter and ways to anonymously review where you work.

  • some time's you can be rely nice to a costumer and day still wont live you a good tip thous bastards lol

  • I think some of your comments are REALLY harsh. Some are just get-a-life-nerd comments.

But I will admit this is not even good diner service.

I'm not sure where she is, but she wouldn't last a day in New York City, Boston or LA.

  • This bitch is fake ass hell, talks too much and probably gets by on her looks and a 2 table station. Noob server, whatd you expect when shes serving chz sticks and appetizers. I'd run circles around this hooker like it was nothing

  • hahahh

  • who the hell pay you to make this fucking videos

  • ooooo my god......

  • LOL! You all make comments about her like she works in fine dining...Really, what do you expect from a server who works in a place that serves main courses in plastic baskets with wax paper lining?

  • i admit...you're right

  • oh...another thing....i, personaly DON"T talk about tips and definitly DON"T think about them while serving or explaining the service mods to others. It's embarasing and if you want to be a professional you shoul be focused just on serving ALL THE TIME. don't be greedy

But she looks great and maybe for a bistro it's ok and i bet she is a nice person...

    OK...now i finished

  • Mistakes:

-wayyy to much talking with the client

-way did she touched the glass with her hand uncovered?????

    - way did she clear the table from tte front of the customer???????

-she holds the plates with her both hands while she has just 2 plates....i don't understand

-she clears the bread firs and secondly the food plate

    ok...i finished

  • U guys are so means , its exquisite just to read ur comments ,

  • Way Too Much Talking, Annoying as fuck, and she did not do a good job at all in suggesting deserts. You don't ask a talbe how is everything. example:You should ask, "Was your burger grilled to perfection?" And for drink refills, you never ask if a customer wants one, you refill their drink automatically. Horrible waitress. This bar she works at must be a dive. Anyone watching this video should not take any of her advice. I should make my own video to really teach people how to be a "good server"

  • @irishkid19 couldt agree with you more but the kind of service you give depends on the customer type your resturaunt attracts, for instance if your at a higher end resturaunt u need to be extremely proffesional, but if ur just dealing with your avg workin man type you just gotta get them food asap, make sure everything is how they like it and keep em happy wich is a lot harder than it sounds haha

  • @irishkid19 "And for drink refills, you never ask if a customer wants one, you refill their drink automatically."

NO, you ask when you *GREET* the table if the customers want this. I HATE, HATE, DESPISE when servers give me refills without asking my permission to. *I* am the customer that gets to ORDER and *I* am ****PAYING***** for the ******SERVICE****.

If you want refills without being asked or asking, *ORDER AT THE GREETING THAT WAY*!! People may want SOMETHING ELSE instead.

  • What don't ask to box it up? It is very typical that people will want to take the items with them.

  • @rdslatan That's what I was going to say. YOU ALWAYS, ALWAYS OFFER if the customers want their leftovers, ALWAYS!

Also, she shouldn't be trying to take a plate while asking if she can take it. She should be asking and THEN reach for the plate. Body language assumptions are aggravating. I hate when servers reach at the same time asking and they have to take their hand back when I tell them I am not finished yet.

  • ive been in catering for 4 years

take my advice, STAY OUT OF CATERING

    THE WORST INDUSTRY EVER!

CRAP WAGES, CRAP CUSTOMERS, CRAP MANAGERSFUCKIGN AWFUL PEOPLE.

    TRUST ME

  • I've been a waiter for 9 years. I am a dude. Niggers and old people get on my case all the time. You have nice boobs. You will get 79% less problems than I do. So shut the fuck up!!

  • that is so right!... I'm a waiter (guy) as well. and people treat you different than a girl...

  • i work as a waiter in a restaurant and it`s too damn tiring for me!

  • There is a big difference between a waiter in a fine dining restaurant and a waiter in a pub, like this one.

  • Well said Dude!

  • That's the fakest "waiter" i've ever seen!!!

  • It should be titled 'How to make sure you get tips, while acting like a bimbo' ! @ 1:07

  • @miaamora lol x) she says too much xD

  • She sounds so fuckin fake and I really want to slap the sh it out of her!

  • Little miss jobs-worth [ what a great job ]who the f##k wants to learn how to clean a table

  • lol, u knob. But your comment was funny.

  • You have got to be kidding me?! Big deal if she says no problem. And that m'am/sir bullshit, c'mon. That, I think is so retarded to say to other people.

  • someone please shut this fuckin barbie goody goody girl up!!.

  • Whats sad, is I am a better waitress and I work at Waffle House, she didn't even ask if anyone wanted re-fills!?

  • boooooo

  • Awful waiter

  • i am taking a waiter profssional class and possibly everything she does is wrong loll

  • howd you find it?

That's the kinda thing I need to do...

  • @sampik05 it's probably a different type of setting for you; it looks like that restaurant where she is working at is more kick back ; whre are you planning on working ?

  • must be a shitty restaurant!

  • I agree, she's trying to show us how to do it and , first: you don't put youor hands on the table, they're not your friends, second please, and please, don't touch your hair, it's just wrong, and also third: the voice, don't pretend, be natural.

  • i get what ur saying but how can i clear the table without puting my hands on the table!?

  • You put them on the dishes not the table.

  • 1:12.....wtf

  • I dont know if it is because she is showing us these things ?

But by god her voice is annoying and fake ..

  • yeah 1:12 wtf lol

  • stupid!! do not grab ur hair!!

haha 1:12 you where just about to

fix ur hair lol! what a waiter!

  • with a waiter that looks like that, i wouldn't even look at my table, just her Raaawr

  • This chick is way too chatty to her tables. A good server can anticipate the needs of their guests without asking and constantly badgering them with narratives. My guests would prefer to talk amongst themselves anyway and I only speak to them when it's absolutely necessary.

  • "Guests" not customers, "No rush whatsoever, but may I...", I might also make mention of the fact that you didn't use open hand service.

  • i know! she just grabbed the plates like they were hers.

  • her hair looks funny

  • i would feel hassled by you and thins would make me wont to stand up and give u a right hook to the jaw :)

  • And you dont say ''No problem'' to the guest.

  • What's wrong with that? NOTHING!

  • don't clear the main plates unless everybody has finished...

  • Exactly!
