  • This is Rock and Roll. With great riffs, great solos, agressiv guitars and much rythm . If I had to put 10 songs as an example of Rock and Roll I definitely put this one.

  • Great song and album! No one writes music like this anymore.

  • High N Dry....the best DL album.

  • THIS IS ROCK AND ROLL HOW IT SCHOULD BE!!!!!

  • Hei 'keyphillip', I agree with you man!!!!!!!!!! High'n dry is one of my favourite albuns of all time... these fuckin' great songs changed my life...

  • far as im concerned the first two albums are the best..on through the night an high-n-dry....for sure....

  • I pitty Billy Squier to have had to follow these guys when they toured.

  • @YandTIII

Yeah, I remember that tour as well. These guys had the entire rock world by the balls by the end of the year.

  • The Leps at the top of their game, god I'd have loved to have been there!!

  • High n Dry, the best raw Heavy Rock album of all time. UK Metal at its finest! We Love You, DEF LEPPARD!

  • yeah u know it's old drummer has both arms and steve is kicking ass

  • The energy of youth... 1983

  • LONG LIVE THE UNION JACK!

  • best live performance ive seen in ages.fucking phenomonal

  • <3 Cool woman, cool eyes,

    Got me hypnotized

So head down, get a rhythm

Stop your stalling and your bitching <3

  • Classic! Nothin better than that!

  • High N' Dry = Def Leppards Best Album

  • @5Be4Funk I actually like High N' Dry BETTER than Pyromania.

  • High N Dry is probably one of the best guitar rock albums ever. The whole album just completely kicks ASS!!!! It seems these days it just takes 20 minutes and 3 chords and you got an album. What a bunch of B.S. You know Def Lep spent many a sleepless night trying to make good music. Gotta love the fact that they always stuck together (even making sure Pete Willis got his fair share and credit) no matter what. They really are friends and deserve to be at the top

  • @HEADBANGERSBALLER I agree....I love metal like Metallica,Maiden , Priest.....and High n Dry can hang with all the great metal records....Lars Ulrich,Mr.Metal, has even given huge respect to that record! He loves that old Brit rock, Saxon,Lep,Motorhead....you are right High n Dry is balls out rock n roll!

  • These Dudes Rock ! ! !

  • Still love Hysteria (classic album)......just went downhill from there IMO

  • OMG! ~ SWEEEEET VIDEO! One of my fave LEPPARD tunes! ....... JOE ELLIOT makes me ABSOLUTELY swoooooon in this vid! *shhwing*!

  • Joe Elliott was a freaking machine!!!!!!!!!!! Steve Clark was a genius!!!

  • @muzzmatrix hell yeah!

  • Fuck this song rocks hard

  • God damn I forgot how fooking hard these guys rocked. I still love Joe and the fellas, but they lost the secret sauce when Steve passed. :(.

  • Saw this tour in '83. It was Def leppard at their best!

  • Definitely in my top 3 songs by Def Leppard. I had the same shirt that Joe has on. What a great time to be young. I was 20 when Pyromania came out and lived in Hawaii. If only I had a time machine......

  • @vf74tomcat - Yeah definitely one of their top 3. I was 14 when this came out and also owned a sleeveless Union Jack. Hysteria was extremely popular in the mid-late 80's for about 3-4 years, but my interest in Leppard sort of stops with Pyro. British hard rock/metal sort of died out after 84-85, but the run from 81-84 is probably as good as any music genre-run in history. Metallica and one or two others were probably the only American metal/hard rock bands that were in that group then.

  • @SuperFreedomRock Same Here. Pyromania was the last album that I really liked.

  • @SuperFreedomRock Ac/Dc..Metallica wasn't heard of before 84'. Leppard , AC/DC, and Motley Crue..

  • @TheCozybear65 AC/DC not heard of till 84"? Man where in the hell have you been. "Dirty Deeds", "Highway To Hell", "Back In Black"? Ring a bell? All before 84".

  • @Spud13ify read the comment three above the one youre referring to..then you'll se my point.her comment is like secen sentences.

  • @vf74tomcat i would be 2 steps behind you!

  • Let these Dortmund 83 vids be a testament that METAL is alive, and well, and will NEVER die....I'm 42 and NOT ashamed to say...I'm a metal head for life...And a pro touring drummer!!! Rock on my metal head friends...FOREVER....

  • This is bad ass!! i have seen def leppard a few times. I always wished i could have seen them during these days. WOW!!! Not only was their old stuff the stuff of legend, they had a strong stage presence, too. I envy whoever was watching this show live. I bet it was fuckin cool.

  • @tigerced73 saw Pyromania and Hysteria tours. Kick Ass!

  • i like some of the live high n dry songs better than the studio.

  • My favorite were 3 first albums too!!

  • Steve! WOHOO!!! RIP!

  • @vukboy Saw him twice live! Wish he was still here.

  • @thunderdeed1 I wish he would be alive too, but it was his time. I think thats the best way to think about his death...

  • @vukboy I wish i could feel that way.
