  • Well, this was hardly a disaster or anything at all really & lol @ polzowatel's comment below about the toilet paper being used by the camera man from the top of the mountain ... if he could throw it more than a foot I'd be amazed !

  • Did I make a comment? How very long ago?

  • I didn't see it either but too bad it didn't the fucking thing..........

  • nothing happens to it.

  • if it was a bird, you would see a sprayed blood around the shopper because the blades turn with speed around 1000 rounds per second, it was probably fake or some toilet paper that was used by the cameraman from the top of the mountain

  • I saw something fly through the frame, but I don't think it would make it past the rotors had it hit. At first I thought you were talking about the glint of light off the glass.

  • This is Not OPP helicopter the ONTARIO POVINCIAL POLICE HELICOPTER IS GOLD,BKACK AND WHITE! AND SAYS OPP ON IT THIS IS YORK REGIONAL POLICE HELICOPTER THE TORONTO POLICE HELICOPTER IS BLUE AND WHITE!

  • Im sorry that you are so mistaken, you can clearly see that this is a LN registered aircraft, it belongs to Airlift of Norway.. its registration is OPP. look before commenting is my best advice to you

  • wtf was tht it looked like a "reflection" to me lol

  • Lol it was a Light reflextion!

  • ????????????????

  • or it looks like a reflection on the water as the chopper turns

  • lmao looks like a bug to me

  • There's a glint of light off the canopy, followed shortly thereafter by a nearby, out-of-focus bug flying across the field of view. So what? The bug wasn't within a 100 metres of the helicopter.

  • Bird went through the main rotor. Happens fairly frequently, actually.

  • Best youtube video ever.

  • LOL thats a bug flying past the camera lens!

  • @ddhh1 YOu can see whatever it was get pulled into the rotor disc downwash, but from what I saw, it went through and kept going.

  • wow a white dot going across the screen

  • yes it flies from tip right to the bottom left!

    above the heli.

    it doestnt hit the rotor

    :)so its fake

  • I'd say its moving under or above the blades and just looks like it strikes. You can see the object come in from the top right of the frame at the same speed it exits the bottom left. If the rotors struck a bird its unlikely the helis attitude would be unaffected and the bird would be sent flying at A. That speed, or B. That direction (pretty sure the rotors are spinning clockwise and thus debris would go the other way). And there'd be no bird left to fly away and probably no rotor blade either!

  • i did...

  • Didnt you see the white dot flying from the rotorblades?

  • And we see nothing gg.

  • lol do u know what would happen if a bird struck the rotor blade.....

  • idon´t see nothing

  • ...........ok

  • @erickhuno sure you caN! at 0:34 scnds look at the blades!

  • it flies from tip right to bottom left... it doesnt touch it

  • I didnt see any bird strike but it does look as though 1 or 2 flew under the rotors. Birds always dive away from the chopper and he was moving pretty slow so I doubt they would have collided. Turkey buzzards and pelicans are the 2 dumb birds that like to stay in the way, so we turn away to avoid them.

  • This is going to sound funny, but have you ever heard of flying rods? Whole bunch of debate about what they really are but whatever it is, it was moving at a pretty incredible speed for it to travel accross the field of view in slo-motion that fast. I would say maybe a bird, but there doesnt seem to be a strike. Plus look at the angle it moves. Doesnt appear to be a very steep angle (steep dive). Search for them on youtube. Even a segment filming them at "the cave of swallows".

  • LMAO. You all on you tube can be so mean but damn its funny as hell!

  • Yeh thats old stuff...there was a University professor that proved rods are a camera anomoly that picks up insects in the frames. Their wings beat so fast a normal video cannot film clearly but super hi speed cameras filmed along side average cameras showed the insects clearly.

  • I don't see anything,either.

Please tell me the counter, at what second?

  • Look at the slow motion part. At 00.18

  • Try to add &fmt=18 at the end of the URL. Then you will se it better.

  • @coolbinta1 0.17 and 0.33

  • wtf i didnt see anything

  • Then, play it again. And look closely, in the slow motion video, at the end.

  • Yes i also think so, the original video is much better. And it looks like a bird flies in to the rotor, at a great speed. I didnt see it when i filmed it, but much later. Maybe it is a bird called Rype, in Norwegian.

  • birdstrike
