I will try to summarise:

There's a housewife who's really bored with her monotonous home life and so enters this crazy world where she can have fun (colour) and the teletubby is just a method for her to go there because a teletubby is associated with children who are carefree. In the end as she backs into the wardrobe you see that she is still in the dream world and the knock brings her back round to the monotonous life she was trying to escape from.
