  • Does it really matter where it came from...good music is good music..House Music is the SHIT!!!!

  • This is "Classic Gospel House" indeed, "where is the new classic-house for today besides the south african- house sounds of "black coffee" it's out there somewhere for the ole house-heads, I'm sure of it.

  • where is the Dub (Instrumental) version?????

  • Hell yeah! The dance club was on fire in 1994.

  • THIS IS DA S--T STOP PLAYING, PLS GIVE ME THE OLD NYC CLUB SCENE BCK SUMBODY!!!!!!!

  • This version has the female vocalist Precious in place of the Original Loleatta Holloway Vocals. The Kick in this song came from the SP1200 drum Machine and was one of a kind.

  • @chiefbeefofficer I wish I could find that original on youtube with the Holloway vocals. I actually have the original whitelabel bootleg in my collection (somewhere) argh.

  • House came from "the sounds of Philadelphia" MFSB, need I say more.

  • NOTES TAKEN!!! Much respect to the Basement Boys and the B-More House Sound!!!

  • no way all bmore can do is remake hits into that bouncy stuff they play.check your history, house originally came from chicago.

  • Trust me, djmagiz, I know my history, and I agree the term "HOUSE", came out of Chicago. However, the soulful music that people went to the CLUB and danced to came from ALL parts of the World! Would you agree that the Warehouse and other CLUBS in Chi-Town was playing songs from Detroit, Philly, B-More, New York, Jersey, Germany, England, Italy, etc. I am truly grateful for Chicago and ALL the artists that produced the sound that IS NOW commonly known as HOUSE!!

  • house is from Chicago....anyone who has ever bought a 12 inch record and turned on a turntable knows this.

Where you are misled is that there is a Baltimore club sound AND a Baltimore HOUSE sound.

    Basement Boys are Baltimore HOUSE!!!

CLUB PARADOX!!! if you been there you would know the difference

  • @djmagiz Though house came from Chi-town, one should find out how the music arrived there. From an old jock, house was 130 BPM while Club music(Jersey and that garage sound) was 120 BPM.....

Look up the name Tee Scott. he was the reason why Knuckles got a gig in Chi-town...

  • loleatta girl, I'm from jersey, went to Morgan and fell in Love with Paradox

    This is all Baltimore.......

    respect!!!!!

  • its so hard to find the Loleatta version anywhere!
