  • That's the Honda FCX Clarity prototype LOL :)!!!!!

  • lol capitalist propaganda

  • incredible spot!!!

  • nice ad. but the rubik's cubes scared me :P

  • isn't every problem a playground....loved this line in the ad...made much more sense to the ad and to Honda

  • It must take a lot of fossil fuel to make all that hydrogen. Guess the good thing is that we can produce all the hydrogen, or electricity to make hydrogen, in China.

  • And those emissions wouldnt be a global problem at all... Do you have any idea how dirty the fossil fuel powered plants are out there. Read about a Romanian plant which produced as much by the way of CO2 and particulate emissions as the entire UK Grid! I'd rather the electricity was generated cleanly in the developed world thanks.

  • @nakeddork ....you dont make hydrogen, you capture it -_-

  • The song is from the Life Aquatic With Steve Zissou.

I think it is this one:

    Mark Mothersbaugh (Devo):

    "Ping Island/Lightning Strike Rescue Op"

    And it's awesome

  • Thanks

  • Does anyone know the artist and song title for the song?

  • To janebusby: The FCX Clarity is already on sale in America, and it comes with its own fueling station which hooks up to the electricity and water and creates hydrogen. This is a genuine hydrogen fuel cell hybrid - like it says in the advert.

Now, Toyota buy cheap green technology that Honda don't use and they put it into their cars, for example the Prius (SHIVERS! eugh). They are the ones doing what you say.

    Love

    xxxx

  • Correction! The fueling system hooks up to your natural gas and PRODUCES electricity while HEATING your house water! Quick reminder of the hydrogen fuel it farms as well. :) awesome!

  • You know what I mean. :P

Plus, I saw a Prius the other day... The back headlights are REALLY BIG!!

    Ugly.

    Love

    xxxx

  • totally agree.

Toyota is the one doing the PR stunts.

  • Awesome car, but why make it look so ugly!

  • This is nothing but a PR stunt.

Big badge auto makers make these eco cars to make themselves look good. There is more profit in building & maintaining the combustion engine unfortunately. So they have these 'eco cars' ready for production, but will ONLY produce them at the LAST available moment! IE. Either when the small independent firms make eco cars which threaten to outsell their conventional cars or when gas runs out!!! They're about as committed to the cause as Exxon or Mr. Bush are!

  • do you have ANY IDEA how much money Honda is spending on technology that deals with environmental issue?

there were two pre-production FCX in the LA motorshow for the journalist to have a test drive.

do you know how much they cost each?

    $10,000,000 USD.

  • The music goes well with the ad.

  • honda is moving ahead of the competition with video

  • honda is just super duper

  • Better than any of the Superbowl commercials...just good solid advertising.

  • ooh dear, it's a far cry from the great days of cog and grr

  • IVE JUST SEEN THIS A FEW SECONDS AGO!

  • When is that FCX Clarity going to be MSRP'd?

  • Its a great advert. The Rubiks cube and the tea break are the best bits. Everything else is a bit basic though.

  • Honda -> the best cars

  • This advert is insane. Rubik's cube and puzzle are the best in my opinion

  • this should have been a super bowl commercial...

  • good add great soundtrack, life aquatic yes.

  • Isn't this a bit similar to Sony Bravia?

FCX is cool though, why not do an ad that tells people more about that. When can we buy it?

  • so so shit! they need to come up with something good...ditch the ad agency!!

  • Best advert ever xD

  • I like the ribiks cubes but then the add goes down hill from there in my opinion

  • I luffs rubik's cubes

  • the music is "Ping Island" by Mark Mothersbaugh.

  • fake

  • Yeah - it's the music that Steve Zissou pipes into his dive gear.

  • The soundtrack is from The Life Aquatic, I think...

  • Love the "Cog" reference at 00'47" and the soundtrack!
