Where does this idea arise that expecting those who have benefited the most from being Americans, who "have" in abundance, equals dreaded "socialism"? One of the primary goals of "socialism" is egalitarianism - the destruction of social class. There's a chasm between that and thinking everyone should have access to health care. That's like saying believing in public police departments or gov't bodies to ensure clean drinking water is "socialism."

Their coverage, as of late, DOES seem to be a lot nicer in tone than it has been in the past. This could be an inside change in editorial policy motivated by the conclusion that there's no way McCain's going to be elected President, so it might be time to start playing ball with the one who is probably going to be "issuing the press passes" (so to speak.) ...just a thought.
