Sadly americans were not ready for a blk pres & if we were the ones who truly chose, he wouldnt have won but sadly elect college votes can be fixed because no matter who won, both planned to p/u where GW left off in screwing this nation. Plus his mom was a white athiest woman & her mom was racist against blk ppl. How dare this comm use MLK speach to persuade voters. They forgot to mention that hes also related to bush & mccain. Research yourself b4 you deny its true. This ad is a bunch of BS
Why does it not occur to anyone that maybe Black people relate to Obama's upbringing and struggles. He grew up poor and went to university to better himself. That reminds me of me. I can't relate to someone who has had 3 generations in the military with an heiress wife who is 72. Plus, he's a Democrat so he shares the ideology of most Black people anyway.
I don't see how people with different political views can say 'you are wrong' 'you are stupid' for voting a certain way. When it comes down to it - its based on opinion, not your color, not your education, not your wealth. Wealth can't possibly be a factor in voting considering most every doctor i know is voting obama because of universal health care and that reduces the paper work they have to do. What is wrong with picking candidates for their ideas not their parties? Explain please.
You know how the Repugs are: Marriage is sacred until you meet someone younger and perkier. Abortion is wrong, unless your mistress gets pregnant. Family values comes down to how much you're willing to pay to make your pregnant teen daughter disappear for 9 months.
Perhaps you noticed that the only Senator in the U.S. who was a KKK member is a serving Democrat. Perhaps you noticed that the party of White racist southerners was of the Democrats. I prefer independents anyways.
"You shouldn't vote based on race although I would want a black president, but Im not gonna vote for Obama because he's black and I dont want to seem like Im voting for him for that reason."
Yes, it's true that many African-Americans will vote for Obama, because of the fact that he is black, but there are also many whites that will NOT vote for him because he is black.
Because, liberals tend to browse the internet more and tend to be activists, so they search for videos they love to hate. It's nothing against them, it's just a fact of the generation.
What I would like to know is why Barack Obama's YouTube channel is censored to only allow comments favorable to its campaign? Would you like to answer that?
Oh, the vast majority of people planning to vote Obama DON'T plan to do so because he's black, but rather because they find him to be an objectively solid candidate. Sort of like how people disparage Palin not because she's a woman, but because she is easily and verifiably the least qualified vice presidential candidate that anyone alive can remember.
Many people, mainly poor blacks, will vote for Obama purely because of the color of his skin. The pure intention of this ad is to reiterate that Obama is no MLK.
I don't think that's the "pure intention of this ad." It's to remind people to vote based on the content of character. Which is exactly why Obama has my vote.
Correct. If you believe that, then that's you choice. I just don't believe a man who announced he was running for President in a known terrorist's home is a very good character trait.
Jesus H. Christ...at least get the McCain camp charge correct. They aren't saying he announced he was running for Prez in Ayer's home, doofus. The only hard facts are that Ayers contributed $200 to Obama's reelection camapaign and that they sat on a board together, which also hosted a few Republicans, funded by the Annenbergs. Good God
No. If you look at public records, it is clearly noted that Obama first announced he would run for President at Bill Ayer's Chicago home, of which is next door to Barack Obama's.
Dear, please fix your grammar. That last sentence is a mess. Try:
"If you believe that, that's your choice. I just don't believe it's a good character trait for a man to announce that he's running for President in a known terrorist's home."
likewise many people, mainly racists and rednecks will vote Mccain purely because he is white and because Obama has a funny name. Educated people will vote Obama for his character not his color.
Obama is a fraud gimmick candidate who will pander to the middle class with tax credits to get elected. What good will 1,000 bucks do a family when taxing business more causes the whole economy to collapse. Obama fans are just fools falling for a big democratic scam that's tugging at heart strings, black pride, and white guilt. I personally don't care about race AT ALL. McCain could be black and Obama white. It's the other side that's the racists.
This ad isn't really targetted at black people. It's designed to make white people feel less racist if they vote against Obama without really being able to describe why they're voting against Obama. Look, this nice imaginary black guy has the same problem!
From N Y Times."Senator John McCains tax and spending proposals would create larger annual budget deficits than those of Senator Barack Obama, analysts say."
I'm not interested in another candidate that will continue to increase our National Debt and whose rethoric divides America instead of bringing us together. I've done my homework and I'm pleased to say that this is truly the time for change. Are u better off than 8 years ago?
Obama will actually end up spending more than McCain by the end of his 4 year term if elected. He will seek a $1 trillion growth in our government. McCain seeks a shrinkage in our government. After all, we're a people that have a government. Not a government that has a people.
Sadly americans were not ready for a blk pres & if we were the ones who truly chose, he wouldnt have won but sadly elect college votes can be fixed because no matter who won, both planned to p/u where GW left off in screwing this nation. Of course, the dude sounds like a total sellout, which he probably is.

It makes no sense to say that and some how make it as if it applies to Obama as well.

Hahahahahahahahaha! So we're going to have to wait for a black Republican candidate for president?
raptorbonesaw 3 years ago
That's actually very possible. Colin Powell would have ran as a Republican. Alan Keyes was a Rep. Candidate.

Perhaps you've noticed that the Republicans did not, in fact, come remotely close to ever running either man for president.
