Gooch is amazing. Went to 40th anniv of Woodstock not expecting much for a Alvin Lee-less TYA, but came away ecstatic. TYA was the only band of the night that made me want to buy their NEXT cd, rather than revisit old ones.

The point is simple: TYA is with Joe Gooch still special and good to see. Queen without Freddy works to when you look at the people who come to a concert with Paul Rodgers. Give the TYA now a change and don't go back to something that never come back!!!

The point is simple: Joe needs three great musicians to do this....Alvin has done it better with just about anyboby! The original TYA was magic. Best live band of all time...period. A great body of work that will stand up to the one infallible critic: TIME.

they meay be,but the point i'm making is that alvin wrote most of the music, sang it and that truly was his band. Gooch can play ,but he's playing alvins stuff.
