my last dog who was a mix between siberian husky and alaskan malamute played just like this. greatest dog ever. now i have a pure alaskan malamute that's bigger than this and not even a fully grown dog yet and he's a big whimp, he's even afraid of stairs with holes in them. great dog though

i find it amazing how owners can just hug and push their malamute, i sometimes even accidently kick her and she doesn't even flinch, but one day my boyfriend got close and tried to hug her, she didn't like it one bit and she warned him very well.

yeah it's all to with the pack isn't it, she accepts me and my intentions. If someone else outside of the pack tried handling her so rough she wouldn't have any of it!

i just found out my dog is mostly alaskan malamute we thought he was akita. we were wrong he is 120 pounds
