Yes they are fairly common down here. Mostly Green Morays and Spotted Morays with an occasional Golden Moray if you're lucky!

you seen morays in the wrecks in flordia?
There are lots of wrecks here and we don't always see Morays on them. There are a couple of wrecks where they like to hang out more than others, but the majority of times that I see them they are on the reefs.

no I haven't. I have been pretty close to them several times but they are more scared of me than I am of them! Thanks for your comment!
