  • Man I wish you guys could have been one of my teachers.

  • Cocaine much?

  • OMG! these two crack me up! Totally cheesy and lame song with dance but I cant help but love it! Makes me wonder whats in the water they drink down in New Zealand though... (or whats NOT in the water is probably more like it!)

  • Well, I like to fart. So I guess if I don't soak them I can get guaranteed gas for hours of fun farting? This is almost too good to be true. Better than a whoopee cushion!!!

  • You two are SO FUN! Thanks for such an informative and fun video.

  • they probably have some wild sex at night

  • Haha that was entertaining, soak, drain and boil :D

  • You guys are a riot!!!

  • you see, I always thought that beans were a magical fruit.

  • mister i think that girl likes you would the quick soak method work the same

  • I wish that instead of just a "thumbs up" or "thumbs down" there were also a "question mark" symbol I could click to signify that "I am so confused by your comment" aka "wtf?"

  • you guys freak me out...

  • LOL You 2 are so cute 2gether. Thank you so much. That is what I always wanted to know, and my Mom can't cook for BEANS! lol (pun intended...)

    Thx again!

  • peace , love.........and I my opinion a lot of drugs !! jajaja they are so especial people

  • Could i save the water that you soaked the beans in and then boil it down to make a concentrated solution? Use this solution as a super potent fart elixer say for a long car trip with my dad. muuuuhuhuhahahahah

  • LOL let me know if it works

  • Ok, soak, drain boil. Yes that will clean the beans but what makes the beans "gassy" has nothing to do with "toxins" its sugar or more particular indigestible oligosaccharide. Basically it isn't broken down by the body very well, bacteria take care of it in the intestinal tract and produce gas as a byproduct of the natural digestion. Not toxic. Well the fart could be to a crowded room but not the beans themselves.

  • Would the process be the same with Black Turtle beans?

  • Yes! Just make sure they are soaked for a good length of time first

  • Cheers... Love your videos... Better than googling it! "Boil, them HARD!" Soak, drain and boil!

  • what are they on? ..they look like they're about to get the giggles.

  • hilarious - loves it! What about lima beans? I soaked them once, and the peels started coming off...it was gross...how do you do them?

  • My solution for this problem is cooking the beans in a steam cocker and put some caraway seed into the cooking water.

After the meal if you still feel bloated, have a walk cos it helps a lot to sort out your problem.

Well, that is my way of dealing with beans as I cock them once a week.

  • Hi,

Cute video, thanks for the info. I needed a brush up on cooking beans.

I didn't know that about the old water.

    Thanks and take care,

    saffrongirl

  • I've read in different books that soaking doesn't do much but take away flavor and cut down the cooking time slightly. It's simply a matter of getting used to the beans that really helps in the matter of digestion/gassiness

  • i luv it, soak drain and boil!

  • nice video!!!

  • Changing the water has been proven to be ineffectual and you may be throwing out vitamins. Better to eat beans more often if you are suffering from gas. Please talk to a food scientist!
