I am currently studying art history at the graduate level and aspire to become an art curator. While I do love the dramatic use of chiaroscuro by Italian Barqoue artists such as Caravaggio, I am enraptured by Italian Trecento paintings, particularly those by members of the Sienese school of painting such as Duccio, Simone Martini and Barna da Siena.
Are there any sort of internship opportunities available at the Met?

Philippe de Montebello's opinion on Italian Art is very respectful and praiseworthy. I hope he is still curating at the Met.
