A lot of the similarities you pointed out are just standard "medieval castle" tropes. Even the original Dragon Warrior had locked doors, bodies of water, and throne rooms with carpet and pillars. But I could see how it might be some reference to Fire Emblem anyway...

I find it to be no coincidence for this stage to be the first one with locked doors though.

First one in Brawl? Maybe because it's the first indoor stage. Or at least one of the earlier ones. I haven't done SSE in a long time.

Great Job I thought you were done with fire emblem history since I totally forgot about the history in this stage.
Fire Emblem is amazing one of my favorite games.
By the way are doing more history after this
