hey i got a couple questions. How does fuel routing for ur company work? i know its a left field question but when i was driving for prime the whole 7months i was there everytime i would make a macro request for fuel 9 times out of 10 they would send me 20 to 30 miles out of my way just to try to save a few cents lol. i could be at a loves and they would send me to a petro way off route or something and it would annoy the hell out of me lol
Man, I like very much your videos. I love the style of American trucks. I remember in my childhood I always saw movies that had trucks and a brand that has always hit me was Peterbilt. They are beautiful trucks. Congratulations on your beautiful truck and the great videos.
Nice video Matt...i'm a truck driver from Israel...so we are watching you in the middle east also...keep upload your videos... very interesting :) thank You!
About the water in fuel warning, that's water in the water separator finter, which got a sensor and a drainplug in the bottom of it, drain the water out of the filter with the drain plug and your golden.
Hey Chief, just caught up on all yer vids. Thanks for making them i appreciate the efforts since I'm heading in the direction of driving for a new career, all the info you've supplied is interesting and invaluable. Lets see if this is right, study CDL manual, pass get cdl permit,go to trucking school graduate then look for or recruited by carrier company. I think that's how its suppose to go. If I'm way off can you give me a heads up and let me know the correct way to do this. Thanks!
@DMaustrap1 That's correct. The final step is drive with a trainer for 2-6 weeks, or find a company that doesn't require training. Good luck with your new career
@1776Filmz i work for a local bud light distributor and i got my CDL and all my training in only 5 weeks sad part is its only a day cab and they did not let me drive the 10 speed only 6 speed is there going to be a learning curve if i try to go with another company and be in a biger truck?
@DMaustrap1 Hey man I agree. Vids are awesome. I'm headed in the same direction. Hopefully I will be in school in about a week or two. I've been waiting for the past year to be able to drive and it's finally here. I've been studying the manual too. My stepdad has been a driver for about 12 years - 10 of those OTR.
hah, the reason that i dont comment you'r facebook statuses, is because i live in Norway, and Norway is atleast 6 hours in front of USA ;) so when you are writing you'r statuses, i am lying in my bed and sleep xD but anyways, awesome vid!
that was a cool tour, seems like it's not bad living the trucking life. Take care and be safe out there, keep up the great vlds, you make them like we're out there with you!
3100 miles, the week starting well.Love the 1776filmz production, keep it coming! Stay safe. Will u be home for the superbowl or at a flying j somewhere?
What's that 5th Wheel Slide do and why don't you want to touch it? If there were something inside the truck that I wasn't supposed to touch then the suspense would probably kill me and I'd ending up pushing it and destroying something and get fired.
But seriously, what happens if you press that button? I won't be able to sleep until I know...
@Bystander81 it releases the pins from the teeth so that the 5th wheel can slide and you can add weight to the steers or the drives or vise versa and he prob didnt want to touch it because on some trucks its hard to get the even weight back on the wheels lol I love trucks thats how i know
We're running Pete straight trucks at our company, single axle box trucks with day cabs and Paccars under the hood. Even though they got auto transmissions (6-sp), the trucks are mint! Driver's seat has no right side arm rest which stinks, but the traditional looking split windshield is worth it.
Great tour, dude, thanks. I've always kinda wondered what's the yellow thing hangin' on the seatbelt? What does it do wnd what's written on it? It looks like some kind of warning.
Nice, truck, biiig sleeper, in europe we have smaller sleepers, but they can comfortable too. So congratulated new truck, greetings form Poland in central Europe.
if you don't mind me asking, what kind of fuel mileage are you getting?
