@hollygirl1998 4 years is quite decent, but i think there's still a lot more you can learn in piano. piano is one of the common instruments to build your foundation in music. if you are taking piano lessons I wouldnt recommend you to do guitar at the same time. but if you really really really want to play guitar (which sounds like you do), go ahead! it's your choice. ;)

@hollygirl1998 how long have you been playing the piano? If you have been playing the piano for a few good years, guitar is definitely easy to pick up (but hard to master). both guitar and piano are beautiful instruments :) you can get a cheap guitar for a start, and then decide if you want to go further.

Well played! Good work on the fast changeovers in the left hand.

Some constructive criticism:

- Add dynamics to give feeling to the song, it's an *emotional* song.

- Try to fill the gap at 00:58. While there is no tune in the original song, you're playing a solo. Try filling the gap with a few C notes in the left hand, doing what the drum does or just putting some chords in.

- At 2:28 where you have the double chords and other places like that try releasing the pedal so that chord is staccato.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that it was a bad cover. I was merely providing some suggestions on how to improve. It is a very good cover, espeically if she did it from ear.

Also, to address your points:

- I am not suggesting she put a fancy jazz-style solo in the gap at 0:58, but am just saying that a 5-6 second gap is far too long to leave in a piano solo. I know that in the original song there isn't any instrumental here, so I am suggesting she keep the beat going in the bass hand. Perhaps some B-flat chords, each landing on the beat, which lead into the C-chord at 1:03.

- While they are by no means legato, I wouldn't call them staccato, as they're pedalled.
