its kinda hard to trip somebody on purpose with your back turned to them..... viktash wasnt even close to the ball anyways nor did he really even run towards it. looks like he was trying to run into the first base coach to me
Cry my a river chomp chomps:( It's when things don't go your way you whine like little brats and want to take your blankies back. Its becoming lame and extremely typical of your fan base as a whole. You got your ass waxed in the title game because of your cry baby mentalities and schmuck coach. Get over it.
I can't believe that someone just suggested that this was our first baseman's fault. People really see what they want to see. I am astounded. I am reminded, once again, never to argue with idiots. They will try to pull you down to their level. I am done.
Vickash Ramjit should have taken another Lebron flop last night or O'Sullivan could have maybe whined a little more. They should have done something to get their 15 minutes of fame on ESPN because the mighty gators sure didn't show up to play any baseball. There's no crying in baseball! hahaha...
The first basemen pulled a Mano Ganobili here to get some attention; watch his left leg as he is about to run past the coach. It takes a wider than usual gait to hit him- the same guy had a run-in with the University of Miami (his former team)! Then for the UF coach to be a prick about it makes it even worse!
Everything is in the past, hilljack. Do I think that we will consistently do better than Mississippi State in the future? Everyone does. Besides, who says I am a huge fan of Tebow anyway just because I am a Gator grad?
The UF player ran into him, and the MSU coach was kind enough to try to help him. Of course, Baby O'Sullivan tried to make everyone believe that his player was tripped until he changed his tune after reviewing the tape and being consulted by his superiors after the game. Amazing how he changed his tune about Mississippe State at the press conference and would not address the issue then. What a coward to chomp at the MSU fans. Mike Martin would never stoop to that level. Go Texas Longhorns!
That is the best you can do? I am as stupid as bricks?!?! I was expecting a little more from an esteemed graduate of Tebow University. Nevermind, you likely didn’t even go there. Sweet statue by the way maybe you all should go ahead and give Chris Leak one as well.
Obviously a post by a chomp chomp fan... The upload states he gets tripped by "there" coach? For those of you who do not know the rules of a coaching box please research it before making a typical uneducated assumption just because you know everything and your a Gator. 1B wasn't even close to making the play and he took a flop worse than Lebron.
@9dhow "please research it before making a typical uneducated assumption just because you know everything and YOUR a Gator. " You need to correct your own English before you start correcting others.
BTW, this same coach tripped another SEC player last year in a similar situation. Coincidence?? You be the judge, but in the last 8 years watching from front row seats in an SEC stadium, I've never seen another coach have a similar problem.
I think it's a non-issue but the coach should have been more cognizant of where the play was going and tried to get out of the way (not that he has to)...it's a safety issue more than anything for both of them and I'm glad it didn't result in Vic spraining an ankle or tweaking a knee considering Maddox and Johnson may both still be out when the CWS starts...where we will be playing and not MSU...
Players tracking a high pop up are looking straight up and cannot watch where they are going. The coach knows this and should have moved quickly out of the area. The widening of the legs right before the trip sure does look suspicious. Someone needs to ring his cowbell.
1b coach should have moved towards the dugout or the fence on a play in foul territory - not advance towards the potential catch. Accidental or not is not the issue - coaches know better.
Hey dipshits, 1B coaches leg is thrown forward by the little shit kicking him from behind in an attempt to make it appear he was tripped. This is Florida douchebaggery at it's best
If you don't believe he tripped Vickash (1B), watch carefully.
The 1B coach is taking normal strides at first. Right when Vickash is about to pass him, you can see his right foot swing out to the right, catching Vickash's left leg, and the coach's foot even kicks forward in an unusually longer stride. The coach even fakes innocence by trying to help him up... disgusting.
It's like a kid with crumbs on his face claiming he wants to do the right thing and find out who stole from the cookie jar.
He sticks out his leg. Unless you walk normally for five steps and every sixth step u swing your leg to the side, i'd say he tripped him

Either the coach tripped him, or he needs to visit the ministry of silly walks to get subsidized for his walking problem!

Hey Tebow stop being a cry baby. Glad you had first row seats but probably couldn't even attempt anything half athletic. Just don't blow it in Omaha.
