I can tell how really insecure Frank is reguarding his relationship with Nat, otherwise he wouldn't even be entertaining his father with a response, He's getting all angry and mad, because deep down he knows, something is not quite right...With that said, Nat and Liv, KILL this scene, absolutely marvelous. It never gets old either, I can watch it over and over again.

Frank was never a dumbass he just was guilty of being a hopeless romantic thinking that he could love someone enough for the both of them which is not a realistic way of living but, many people are guilty of doing that in their everyday relationships.
Speaking of a twisted plot, Nat agreeing to marry Frank and Liv pushing her to do so, was a hard one. But it was very well handled. So will be the pregnancy I think....

wow. the 1st time id saw this on tv. i knew olivia was on the verge of breaking. evenso, she kept pushing nat towards frank. but nat wouldnt take it this time cause she knew what olivia had done in regards to frank.
nat wanted to hear olivia in her own words and noone else. and boy did olivia deliver BIG. i remember that scene where oliv says when she does something, its usually gonna be big/huge. and nothing is bigger than admitting your true love for someone.
wonderful acting on both parts natalia & olivia . natalia very come throughout the whole scene. just break your heart up into little pieces. i'm in pain for them...
The most heart-wrenching part of this whole scene is directly after Nat asks why Liv is crying. She says "I'm crying.... because..." And then there is this look of undeniable heart-wrenching pain on Liv's face... It's at about 3:35... It gets me every single time.
Each time Olivia tried to tell her this, somone would interupt her... She was like a volcano, boiling to the surface... i understand that CC's emmy nomination was based on performance that occurred prior to the love declaration scene we see here in this clip...nonetheless, we know that anything CC has done insofar as this storyline is concerned is emmy worthy... no doubt next year she'll be nominated based on these very scenes :)...two emmys in a row!
This is just about the best performance by any daytime actress ever. It's right up there with Kim Zimmer's 1984 Emmy Award Winning performance for the "SLUT OF SPRINGFIELD". If CC doesn't win the Daytime Emmy for BEST ACTRESS this year, then she will have, definitively, been ROBBED!!!

Natalia wanted Olivia to say that she was in love with her. She, basically, forced it out of Olivia. Later on, Natalia admits that she wasn't really surprised when Olivia said she loved her.
The confession by liv is heart wrenching, Crystal is such an amazing actress, the outburst and then the soft reiteration omg *swoon* :). Wow such pain could feel so wonderful :)
Have any of you ever felt so much pain and cried so hard yet tried to hold it in that you feel feverishly hot? That's the impression I get after Olivia says "I'm in love with you" the second time and them palms her cheek. Just more compelling evidence of CC's outstanding talent. She totally deserves a freakin' Emmy! If GL can't find another home, I hope there are casting directors out there who will realize what a font of acting talent exists on this show.
What I love in this episode is the juxtaposition between Frank and Olivia. Frank is so absorbed in his own feelings for Nat, and what he wants, etc., that he cannot see what Natalia wants. Olivia, on the other hand, is ready to disregard her own feelings, what she wants, for Natalia. Buzz asking Frank whether he can let go of Natalia was, IMO, most telling. It was at that point that Buzz, and the audience, realize who TRULY loves Natalia.
That first frustration-filled "I'm in love with you!" is such a surprise that Olivia covers her mouth cuz she can't believe she finally said it. And the second "I'm in love with you" well, that's just perfection... gets me every darn time I watch it.
Go vote everyone on the poll that CBS guiding light site has about Natalia and Oliva. Crystal Chappell says that fans reaction has a direct effect on the storyline. Make sure your heard!

i understand that CC's emmy nomination was based on performance that occurred prior to the love declaration scene we see here in this clip...nonetheless, we know that anything CC has done insofar as this storyline is concerned is emmy worthy... no doubt next year she'll be nominated based on these very scenes :)...two emmys in a row!

This is just about the best performance by any daytime actress ever. It's right up there with Kim Zimmer's 1984 Emmy Award Winning performance for the "SLUT OF SPRINGFIELD". If CC doesn't win the Daytime Emmy for BEST ACTRESS this year, then she will have, definitively, been ROBBED!!!

Gosh.. I have seen this episode already at the CBS website but I can't help watching it again. :-) Totally AWESOME acting by Olivia and Natalia. It sure is heart breaking to watch them fight their feelings...so it sure is great to see it finally declared out loud..

Natalia wanted Olivia to say that she was in love with her. She, basically, forced it out of Olivia. Later on, Natalia admits that she wasn't really surprised when Olivia said she loved her.

Have any of you ever felt so much pain and cried so hard yet tried to hold it in that you feel feverishly hot? That's the impression I get after Olivia says "I'm in love with you" the second time and them palms her cheek. Just more compelling evidence of CC's outstanding talent. She totally deserves a freakin' Emmy! If GL can't find another home, I hope there are casting directors out there who will realize what a font of acting talent exists on this show.

What I love in this episode is the juxtaposition between Frank and Olivia. Frank is so absorbed in his own feelings for Nat, and what he wants, etc., that he cannot see what Natalia wants. Olivia, on the other hand, is ready to disregard her own feelings, what she wants, for Natalia. Buzz asking Frank whether he can let go of Natalia was, IMO, most telling. It was at that point that Buzz, and the audience, realize who TRULY loves Natalia.

That first frustration-filled "I'm in love with you!" is such a surprise that Olivia covers her mouth cuz she can't believe she finally said it. And the second "I'm in love with you" well, that's just perfection... gets me every darn time I watch it.

LOL, thank god I was!!!! This was my best case scenario..the fact that it happened like that is what blows my mind away about this show. Just when u think it can't get any better, they prove you wrong and raise the bar in the Otaliagasmic scale, hahaha.These writers are simply hitting it out of the ballpark every single time. I nearly died when they did the whole Book of Ruth quote, I was like 'Nooo, they didn't!!!' Too brilliant to be true. I'm assuming u know the the whole story on that?
