I got a JVC R606. I am trying to find out about the ipod control thing its got and if its worth getting an ipod, having to mess around with itunes, having itunes take over my computer and messing with the good thing I got going on with WIndows Media Player. I do like the concept of being able to shake it and get other tracks etc. At the moment I load everything onto a USB pen drive but impossible to browse to the correct track. My other option is a drag and drop mp3 about half the price.

hey nice stereo i went with the KD-R401 model didn't get a manual with it so had to faff about with it until i figured it out and how to use it got it installed today and the all in price for the head unit, fascia, and fitting all came to £ 119.99 which i thought was pretty reasonable even if it was on sale. next stop is a new set of wheels need too save the cash first though

yes u can use other mp3 players. u just need a ten dollar cord and u can plug it into the aux in jack and it sounds just as good.

Well it only has about 25 pre-set colors, but you can make custom colors.

As far as I know the USB port ONLY works for Ipods and flash drives, so if you have anything else you'd need to use the 3.5mm audio jack.

I like it a lot, the only complaint I have is the lack of preset BUTTONS. But other than that its really good radio. My Cavalier is a 93.

@281kcorD I got this about 6 months ago. I haven't got an ipod yet though. I am seriously thinking of getting an 8gb ipod nano. At the moment I'm using a 4gb flash drive with the USB. Ipod control on my head unit is the only reason I want to get an ipod. Flash drive is not ideal.
