A self-taught player, I still can't read a note. Even after playing on the road full-time for two years, doing session work in Nashville, playing as a guest performer with a full symphony and playing as a guest performer with a full symphony, I never thought I could teach because I couldn't read charts. Thinking maybe I could do it the way I learned myself, I began teaching last year. How amazing to find you on this vid teaching the exact concept. It works!
I really enjoyed this basic lesson. As a beginner player, it really brought together a lot of music theory principals for me. I hope to see more of these basic lessons in the future!
