For one of the fieldgoals he blocked, we were winning 9 to 7 with like 1 minute left and they attempted the fieldgoal on our 7 yard line. People started leaving, because they automatically assumed that Newnan would loose. Me and my family knew better, since we had seen Alec and Zander play since they were freshmen. Alec blocked the kick and Newnan beat Greyson making us go into the next round of the playoffs!

TheSuiGenesis, My thoughts exactly. This kid hits like Greg Blue--at the very Least. Imagine the beast he will grow into under the coaching at UGA. Coach Lakatos must be counting the days until he can work with this guy on the field. Mr. Ogletree plays the way Coach Grantham says he wants everyone to play, smart and ferocious.

He definitely hits like a train, and he is up to 225. He may eat his was out of the position. I don't want another Reshad Jones. Big hitter that did not make a play on the ball till the tech game. Lakatos wants guys after the ball and grantham wants pressure. I heard the entire westlake offense was scared shitless of him. I got a feeling dowtin will move inside and samuel will be playing one OLB spot so he maybe on other edge.

OH YEAH!! We won against Valdosta last night 28 - 9. Not to take anything away from our many great players, but the two "Trees" made huge contributions on defense, offense, and special teams. Gotta give huge kudos to Zander. That boy has HEART!

Decent? Give me a break! Decent players don't get rated #2 in the nation. Alec is a phenomenal player. But so is his brother Zander. Not really sure why Zander hasn't been more heavily sought after. They are both major parts of our defensive team. Don't have the stats handy but watching every game shows the talent of them both. Great year so far and looking forward to playoffs beginning tonight. Dread next season with the loss of these two great players
